After her work on Chicago P.D. Season 11 Episode 7, “The Living and The Dead,” Jo is back on Chicago P.D. Season 11 Episode 8, “On Paper,” per Upton’s request.

After a young child is kidnapped, Upton believes they will be closer to solving the case if they work with Jo again. However, as they team up, Upton thinks there is something wrong with this SVU detective. Will this jeopardize the case?

As established on the previous episode, Jo is a very particular detective who prefers to work alone. This might cause friction with Upton, who is used to working in a certain way.
