Preview — Law & Order Season 23 Episode 6: On the Ledge

Shaw helps a man on the edge of committing suicide, only to have it come back on him in the worst ways. Law & Order Season 23 Episode 6, “On the Ledge,” opens the conversation about making choices and then regretting them.

If the man you saved goes on to shoot up a hospital, are you the one to blame? It’s definitely what Shaw is thinking, requiring Riley to recenter his partner so they can stop the man’s actions.

Unfortunately, once the man gets his day in court, he pleads an insanity defense. This makes things especially difficult for Maroun and Price as they try to prove beyond a doubt the man knew what he was doing.
