Preview — Percy Jackson and the Olympians Season 1 Episode 5: A God Buys Us Cheeseburgers
Following Percy Jackson’s death-defying jump from the St. Louis Arch, the trio seeks a comforting meal as they regroup.
However, Percy Jackson and the Olympians Season 1 Episode 5, “A God Buys Us Cheeseburgers,” has different plans for them when the God of War buys the demigods burgers at the cost of a favor.
The three will go on a side quest to retrieve something Ares lost at Waterland Theme Park. In return, he will help them get to Los Angeles.
What they don’t know is that Hephaestus has rigged the park in an attempt to catch Ares trespassing.
As the demigods struggle to play nice with this fearsome god, Annabeth and Percy grow closer after their run-in with Athena’s bruised pride.
When the two find themselves in the waterpark’s tunnel of love, they are forced to look at their reluctant partnership in a new light.
As if two gods and a ship setting sail aren’t enough, the episode also features the three Fates — and a pivotal moment for Percy’s sword-fighting skills.
