Her pet Chimera will undoubtedly stir up trouble for Percy, Annabeth, and Grover as their plans to take a train to Los Angeles are derailed.

As the trio seeks shelter in one of Athena’s temples, Percy finds himself at the mercy of Poseidon’s generosity. Meanwhile, Annabeth is forced to reconsider her unwavering loyalty to her mother.
Readers rejoice as we finally witness how Percy makes that infamous jump from the Arch to the water.
