First ‘Ghosts’ Season 3 Teaser Hints at a Heavenly Mystery
When Ghosts returns, it will return to a mystery.
In a new video for Season 3 released by CBS, we see the series pick up where last season left off. Sam witnesses a bright beam descend on Woodstone as one of the ghosts inside is presumably sucked off to heaven.
But which ghost, you ask? According to the teaser’s British narrator, when the show returns on February 15, we will finally learn “which of our dearly departed, departed.”
Dammit, Ghosts, this is no time for clever wordplay.
Then, the teaser reveals Sam and Jay rush back to the mansion to check on their ghost children after witnessing the beam of light.
Sam grows increasingly panicked when she bursts through the door and isn’t greeted by any of the mansion’s spirits.
“No one’s in here. I’ll check the library,” she explains to Jay before rushing off. In an attempt to help, he declares he will check the kitchen. As Sam confirms the library is empty, Jay hilariously replies, “I can’t see ghosts. I don’t know why I went in there.”
The eerily quiet B&B plays into the aftermath of last season’s nerve-wracking cliffhanger.
While we still don’t know who is leaving Woodstone when the comedy returns, we can take some comfort in this new clip and promotional posters until the hiatus is over.
