Curb Your Enthusiasm will end with Season 12 on HBO.

The award-winning HBO Original comedy series, starring Larry David, will return for its final ten-episode season on Sunday, February 4, 2024, at 10/9c on HBO and will be available to stream on Max.

New episodes of Curb Your Enthusiasm‘s twelfth season will debut on subsequent Sundays at the same time, leading up to the series finale on April 7. HBO renewed the show for Season 12 in August 2022.

“As CURB comes to an end, I will now have the opportunity to finally shed this ‘Larry David’ persona and become the person God intended me to be – the thoughtful, kind, caring, considerate human being I was until I got derailed by portraying this malignant character,” Larry David said in a statement.

“And so ‘Larry David,’ I bid you farewell. Your misanthropy will not be missed. And for those of you who would like to get in touch with me, you can reach me at Doctors Without Borders,” David added.

Curb Your Enthusiasm premiered in 2000, following David “as an over-the-top version of himself” and offering “a tongue-in-cheek depiction of the writer/producer/comedian’s fictionalized life,” per its official synopsis.

The comedy show’s last 11 seasons “prove how seemingly trivial details of one’s day-to-day life can precipitate a catastrophic chain of events.” Curb Your Enthusiasm embraces spontaneous narratives by shooting without a script, with cast members only given scene outlines to improvise as they go.

The final season’s cast also includes Jeff Garlin, Susie Essman, Cheryl Hines, J.B. Smoove, Richard Lewis, Ted Danson, Vince Vaughn, and Tracey Ullman.

“It’s hard to say farewell to such a ground-breaking, brilliantly funny and iconic series like Curb Your Enthusiasm, which has left its mark across television and the comedy genre,” Casey Bloys, Chairman and CEO, HBO & Max Content, said.

“Working alongside Larry David and Jeff Schaffer as well as all of the comedic masterminds that comprise our producers, cast and crew has been a joy that I will always treasure,” Bloys added.

Larry David created and executive produces Curb Your Enthusiasm. Jeff Garlin and Jeff Schaffer also executive produce, and Laura Streicher and Jennifer Corey co-executive produce.

Curb Your Enthusiasm Season 12 premieres on Sunday, February 4, 2024, at 10/9c on HBO.
