What to Watch on TV: Slow Horses, The Artful Dodger, and May December

Welcome to a new week and another round of What to Watch on TV for the week of November 26th! Our picks this week include some fun new episodes, bittersweet finales, and movies.

Mistletoe Connection – Sunday, November 26th

Kate Snow loves everything about Christmas, especially her family’s shop — Treasures from the Heart. So, when Mark Goodwin comes to town as a developer looking to turn her town upside down, Kate doesn’t trust that a quick connection of the heart is enough to change the very real battle they’re involved in. Mistletoe Connection premieres Sunday, November 26th at 7/6c on UPtv.

Movie Description: Kate Snow loves everything about the holidays. From Christmas sweaters to Christmas crafts, Kate loves it all, but what really makes her jolly is Christmas time at her shop, Treasures from the Heart, that’s been in her family for generations. This year, however, a developer is moving into her quaint neighborhood and trying to turn everything she loves upside down. To make matters worse, Kate had an electric moment with a handsome stranger on a bus, but never got his name and now has no way to find him.

Mark Goodwin may wear expensive suits and has a big job, but underneath it all, he loves Christmas and everything that comes with it. When he has a moment of connection with a particularly beautiful stranger – dressed as a Christmas elf no less – he goes on a mission to discover exactly who she is to make his holiday romance dreams come true. But when Mark and Kate discover that they are on opposite sides of a very personal battle, it will take all the Christmas magic in the world to bring these two together in time for a truly magical holiday.

Faraway Downs – Sunday, November 26th

Baz Luhrmann breathes new life into his epic 2008 film, Australia, by turning the story into a six-part miniseries. Nicole Kidman and Hugh Jackman reprise their roles from the film in this miniseries, which follows Sarah Ashley’s story of moving to Australia in more detail and emotional depth. Faraway Downs premieres Sunday, November 26th on Hulu.

Series Description: An English aristocrat who inherits a sprawling ranch reluctantly pacts with a stockman in order to protect her new property from a takeover plot.

Beacon 23 – Sunday, November 26th

Sophie receives a surprise visit, which causes her AI to jump into action during the early days of the Beacon 23 project. Beacon 23 airs Sunday, November 26th on MGM+.

Onmyoji – Tuesday, November 28th

Netflix’s latest anime focuses on the story of Minamoto Hiromasa, who befriends the mystic Abe Seimei. Together they help solve some of the imperial court’s most complicated cases that arise from the demonic realm. Onmyoji premieres Tuesday, November 28th

The team searches for clues for an unexpectedly complicated case centered on a missing social media influencer. Meanwhile, Lacey and Gabi’s fallout reaches a head as Sir starts to remember troubling things from his past. Found airs Tuesday, November 28th at 10/9c on NBC.

A Murder at the End of the World – Tuesday, November 28th

The case heats up with a storm closing in and now a second person has been found dead. Darby manages to avoid being sent home and discovers that there might be more to this retreat than she bargained for. A Murder at the End of the World airs Tuesday, November 28th on Hulu.

Slow Horses – Wednesday, November 29th

A buried MI5 secret in London is threatened when a romantic liaison occurs in Istanbul. Lamb and his team find themselves caught up in a conspiracy that threatens both MI5 and Slough House. Slow Horses premieres with two episodes on Wednesday, November 29th on Apple TV+.

Christmas at Rockefeller Center – Wednesday, November 29th

Kicking off the Christmas Season, Kelly Clarkson will be hosting the annual tree lighting as well as participating as one of the many performers. Christmas at Rockefeller Center airs Wednesday, November 29th at 8/7c on NBC.

Event Description: Kelly Clarkson hosts and performs at the annual tree lighting ceremony, which jumpstarts the Christmas Season at Rockefeller Center. The 91st Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony also boasts performances by Chloe Bailey, Adam Blackstone, Keke Palmer, Cher, David Foster, Katharine McPhee, Liz Gillies, Darlene Love, Seth MacFarlane, Barry Manilow, Carly Pearce and Manuel Turizo.

The Artful Dodger – Wednesday, November 29th

It has been 15 years since the events of Oliver Twist and Jack Dawkins’ past returns to threaten his new life as a surgeon. With the return of Fagin, his life of crime and pick-pocketing comes into focus causing Dawkins to consider his next move. The Artful Dodger premieres Wednesday, November 29th on Hulu.

Obliterated – Thursday, November 30th

Thinking they’d successfully disabled a bomb, an elite special forces team decides to throw a celebratory party. They soon find out the bomb they deactivated was fake and must now try to find the real one and save the world. Obliterated premieres Thursday, November 30th on Netflix.

Bookie – Thursday, November 30th

Veteran Los Angeles bookie, Danny, and his buddy, former NFL player Ray, work together to keep him in business as the legalization of sports gambling zeroes in on his business and threatens his livelihood. Bookie premieres Thursday, November 30th on Max.

Paris in Love – Thursday, November 30th

Shining Vale – Friday, December 1st
