Welcome to a new week and another round of What to Watch on TV for the week of October 15th! Our picks this week include exciting premieres, animated shows coming back, and a few shows returning for their seventh season.

Hotel Portofino – Sunday, October 15th

In a new season of Hotel Portofino, Bella is surprised by an anonymous inspection at the hotel. She also has to deal with her budget going overboard as she tries to build a spa. Hotel Portofino Season 2 returns Sunday, October 15th at 8/7c on PBS.

Series Description: The daughter of a wealthy industrialist moves to Italy in the 1920s to set up a quintessentially British hotel in the beautiful town of Portofino as Benito Mussolini’s brand of fascism was on the rise.

Rick and Morty – Sunday, October 15th

This sociopathic scientist and his grandson have even more adventures, including holograms, being transformed into a leg, and zombies. Rick and Morty Season 7 premieres Sunday, October 15th at 11/10c on Adult Swim.

Series Description: A sociopathic scientist arrives at his daughter’s doorstep 20 years after disappearing and moves in with her family, setting up a laboratory in the garage and taking his grandson on wild adventures across the universe.

FBoy Island – Monday, October 16th

This reality show’s new season brings Hali, Daniella, and former “Bachelorette” Katie to the island to find their perfect match. FBoy Island Season 3 premieres with two episodes on Monday, October 16th at 8/7c on The CW.

Series Description: Three women try to work out which of their 24 suitors are ‘nice guys’ and which are self-proclaimed ‘fboys’.

Found – Tuesday, October 17th

The case of the week finds the team investigating a widower, and Margaret tries to make amends with someone from her past. Found airs Tuesdays at 10/9c on NBC.

Episode Description: The team launches an investigation for widower Reggie Moore at the request of the doorman at Reggie’s building; Gabi comes to a realization about her time with Lacey; Margaret hopes to repair her relationship with someone important from her past.

Dark Side of Comedy – Tuesday, October 17th

The season will begin with the story of Robin Williams, talking about his career and his personal struggles with mental health. Dark Side of Comedy Season 2 returns Tuesday, October 17th at 10/9c on VICE.

Episode Description: Robin Williams’ suicide shocked the world. While he was one of the most successful comedians ever, he was struggling privately with crushing health and psychological issues.

Living for the Dead – Wednesday, October 18th

Narrated by Kristen Stewart, this series follows five queer ghost hunters as they go around the US with the sole purpose of making life better for the living by mending the dead. Living for the Dead premieres Wednesday, October 18th at midnight/11c on Hulu.

Series Description: Five amazing, queer ghost hunters travel the nation to save the living by mending the dead. They will reveal the unseen and reveal untold tales as they investigate some of the most notorious haunted places in the globe. Together, they will overcome barriers to bring acceptance to both the living and the deceased who are misunderstood.

Tyler Perry’s Sistas – Wednesday, October 18th

Sabrina realizes that Bayo has an ulterior motive for helping her, and Hayden becomes wary of Tamara. Tyler Perry’s Sistas Season 6 returns Wednesday, October 18th at 9/8c on BET.

Episode Description: Gary gives Hayden a stern warning to be careful with Tamara’s mysterious motives. Sabrina learns that Bayo’s help with her and Maurice’s legal situation has strings attached.

Jacob Fortune-Lloyd, Shira Haas, Amaka Okafor, and Kyle Soller star in this Netflix series that follows four different detectives in London, who during different time periods, seem to be investigating the same case. Bodies Season 1 premieres Thursday, October 19th on Netflix.

Series Description: Four detectives in four different time periods of London find themselves investigating the same murder.

Neon – Thursday, October 19th

Daddy Yankee is joined by Tyler Dean Flores, Jordan Mendoza, and Jessie Camacho in this series that tells the story of friends who move to Miami to have their big break in reggaeton. Neon Season 1 premieres Thursday, October 19th on Netflix.

Series Description: Three friends move from a small town in Florida to Miami with the hopes of making it big in the world of reggaeton.

Nathan is newly downloaded and in the real world with Nora, and they are on a mission to stop Freeyond. Upload Season 3 returns with two episodes on Friday, October 20th on Prime Video.

This all-about-puberty animated series returns for its seventh season with Hormone Monstress Megan joining the show. Big Mouth Season 7 premieres Friday, October 20th on Netflix.

Series Description: Even for a cartoon character, going through puberty isn’t easy for a young person. Andrew is learning that first hand as he experiences the nightmare that is growing up in this animated series geared toward adults. Along for the ride are friends Nick and Jessi, who develop a budding romance along the way.
