A First Look at Prime Video’s ‘Candy Cane Lane’ Starring Eddie Murphy and Tracee Ellis Ross
The 12 Days of Christmas come to life in Prime Video’s Candy Cane Lane, starring Eddie Murphy and Tracee Ellis Ross.
The holiday comedy adventure movie stars Murphy as Chris, a man on a mission to win his neighborhood’s annual home Christmas decorations contest, but things take a turn for the worst when Chris’s competitive nature leads him to make a deal with a naughty elf named Pepper, portrayed by Jillian Bell.
Pepper casts a spell that makes the 12 Days of Christmas an absolute holiday havoc on Chris, his family, and his neighborhood. So, Chris, his wife Carol (Tracee Ellis Ross), and his three children must stop Pepper’s spell and save Christmas.

Candy Cane Lane premieres on Prime Video on Friday, December 1, and the streaming service is unwrapping the movie’s first teaser trailer on Thursday, October 12.
Writer Kelly Younger penned the screenplay inspired by her holiday experiences on Candy Cane Lane in El Segundo, California.
The Prime Video film reunites director Reginald Hudlin, Eddie Murphy, and producer Brian Grazer for the first time since their 1992 hit movie, Boomerang. Brian Grazer, p.g.a,, Eddie Murphy, Karen Lunder, p.g.a,, Charisse Hewitt-Webster, p.g.a, produce the film. Doug Merrifield executive produces.
Candy Cane Lane also stars Thaddeus J. Mixson, Ken Marino, Nick Offerman, Robin Thede, Chris Redd, Genneya Walton, Madison Thomas, Anjelah Johnson-Reyes, Lombardo Boyar, D.C. Young Fly, Danielle Pinnock, Timothy Simons, Riki Lindhome, and Stephen Tobolowsky.

Movie description: Eddie Murphy stars in this holiday comedy adventure about a man on a mission to win his neighborhood’s annual Christmas home decoration contest. After Chris inadvertently makes a deal with a mischievous elf named Pepper to better his chances of winning, she casts a magic spell that brings the 12 Days of Christmas to life, and wreaks havoc on the whole town.
