007: Road to a Million Teaser Trailer Released by Prime Video
Happy James Bond Day! Prime Video released a teaser trailer for the highly-anticipated UK Original adventure game show series 007: Road to a Million to commemorate the day.
The new photos also give fans the first look at Brian Cox as “The Controller” ahead of its premiere on Friday, November 10.
From the producers behind the James Bond film franchise, 007: Road to a Million “follows nine pairs of everyday people as they are unleashed on an epic global adventure through a series of Bond-inspired challenges for a shot at each winning a life-changing £1,000,000 prize,” per its official synopsis.
Cox was cast in the role on the unscripted series in April 2023. “I got to see how ordinary people would cope with being on a James Bond adventure. As they travel the world to some of the most iconic Bond locations, it gets more intense and nail-biting,” Cox said.
“I enjoyed my role as both villain and tormentor, with license to put the hopeful participants through the mangle,” Cox added.
As “The Controller,” Cox is “the on-screen mastermind behind the game, who dictates where the pairs go, what they must do, and sets their questions.”
He hid ten questions around the world — the untamed Scottish Highlands, Chile’s isolated Atacama Desert, the bustling streets of Venice, and the majestic Swiss Alps, etc.
To find the questions and win the monetary prize, the pairs face Bond-inspired challenges on 007: Road to a Million.
“Each question is worth an increasing amount of money, and if answered correctly, they bank the cash and continue to the next question. If they get it wrong, their journey is over,” per the show’s description.
007: Road to a Million is directed by Julian Jones of 72 Films, who produce the show with MGM Alternative in collaboration with James Bond producers.
