Welcome back to Good Burger, home of the Good Burger!

Good Burger 2 is coming to Paramount+ in time for the holidays on Wednesday, November 22, in the U.S. and Canada. The new original sequel to the iconic ’90s movie, based on the sketch from the Nickelodeon comedy series All That, will premiere on Thursday, November 23, on Paramount+ in the UK and Australia.

Kenan Thompson and Kel Mitchell return as Dexter Reed and Ed, respectively. The duo announced the sequel on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon in March 2023, with production set to begin in May.

“I can’t believe it’s been a little over 25 years since great customer service was born at Good Burger! Being a part of something so many generations of people have come to love has made me so proud and now to be back where it all began working on the sequel is surreal!” Thompson said.

“Love performing with my brother Kel and can’t wait to show the fans what these characters have been up to since we last saw them,” Thompson added.

“Ed is one of those timeless characters that has brought so much joy and laughter to fans, and it’s such a beautiful blessing to still be doing it after all these years. It’s super awesome to come back and continue the stories of Dex, Ed, and Good Burger for both the people who grew up watching and their kids,” Mitchell said.

Good Burger 2 finds Dexter “down on his luck after another one of his inventions fails. Ed welcomes Dex back to Good Burger with open arms and gives him his old job back. With a new crew working at Good Burger, Dex devises a plan to get back on his feet but unfortunately puts the fate of Good Burger at risk once again,” per its synopsis.

That new cast joining Thompson and Mitchell includes Lil Rel Howery as Cecil McNevin, Jillian Bell as Katt Boswell, Kamaia Fairburn as Mia, Alex R. Hibbert as Ed2, Fabrizio Guido as Mr. Jensen, Elizabeth Hinkler and Emily Hinkler as Cindy and Mindy, and Anabel Graetz as Ruth, as Paramount+ announced in June.

Good Burger 2 is also to feature surprise celebrity cameos and more original Good Burger cast members reprising their roles: Josh Server as Fizz, Lori Beth Denberg as Connie Muldoon, and Carmen Electra as Roxanne.

Good Burger debuted on All That in 1994, with the Paramount Pictures film released on July 25, 1997. Mitchell reprised his role of Ed in the 2019 All That revival.

Good Burger is such a beloved movie that fans have cherished for years. Packed with comedy, cameos, and plenty of Easter eggs from the original, Good Burger 2 will bring the nostalgia fans and a new generation of viewers together for another wild, hilarious Good Burger adventure,” Shauna Phelan and Zack Olin, co-heads of Nickelodeon & Awesomeness Live-Action said.

Written by executive producers Kevin Kopelow and Heath Seifert, Good Burger 2 is produced by Kenan Thompson, Kel Mitchell, and Nickelodeon Studios. Phil Traill directs and executive produces.

Johnny Ryan Jr., of Artists for Artists, also serves as an executive producer. James III also has been engaged as a writer.
