Power Book III: Raising Kanan Season 3 Premiere Date Announced by STARZ
Power Book III: Raising Kanan Season 3 will make its highly-anticipated premiere in December on STARZ.
STARZ announced that the show will return on Friday, December 1. Power Book III: Raising Kanan Season 3 will be available weekly on Fridays at midnight ET/PT on the STARZ app, all STARZ streaming and on-demand platforms.
On linear, the season will air on Fridays at 8:oo p.m. ET/PT on STARZ.

The second series from the Power franchise, Power Book III: Raising Kanan is a prequel series set in the 1990s that follows a younger Kanan Stark, originally portrayed by Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, who serves as an executive producer on the project. MeKai Curtis stars in the titular role in this iteration.
Season 3’s first-look photos return to Southside Jamaica, Queens, and introduce new cast members Wendell Pierce and Erika Woods as “Snaps” and “Pop” Henry, as well as Grantham Coleman as “Ronnie,” whose casting was announced earlier this year.
Alongside Curtis and Patina Miller as Raquel Thomas, Tony Danza returns as the Italian mobster Stefano Marchetti. The show also stars Omar Epps, London Brown, Malcolm Mays, Hailey Kilgore, Joey Bada$$, Shanley Caswell, and Antonio Ortiz.
Power Book III: Raising Kanan debuted in 2021, and its second season concluded in October 2022.

The new season will pick up where the last left off — the fallout of the Mob’s attack on Raquel, Marvin, and Lou-Lou. After confronting the truth about his mother, himself, and his family’s secrets and lies, Kanan’s blinders are off heading into Season 3. Sascha Penn is the showrunner and executive producer for Season 3.
STARZ’s synopsis for Power Book III: Raising Kanan Season 3reads as follows:
Kanan finds himself grappling with the very notions of right and wrong. Good and evil. Fidelity and disloyalty. And he’s not alone. Every member of the Thomas family must confront an existential crisis that challenges their very identity. Whether it’s Marvin, who’s still trying to redeem himself, or Raq, who’s finally coming clean, or Lou, who’s wrestling with his own evil, or Jukebox, who’s simply trying to break free from her family’s pathology, they are all attempting to redefine and reinvent themselves. They won’t all be able to complete this intensely personal quest, but for those who do, the destination may reveal the most terrifying secret of all. There is no right and wrong or good and evil. There are no absolutes. In the end, there’s just you.
The Power Universe series is executive produced by the creator and showrunner of the original Power, Courtney A. Kemp through her production company End of Episode, Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson through G-Unit Film and Television, and Mark Canton through Atmosphere Entertainment MM.
Chris Selak, Kevin Fox, Santa Sierra, and Tash Grey also serve as executive producers.
