Welcome to a new week and another round of What to Watch on TV for the week of July 9th! Our picks this week include some exciting season premieres, fun episodes, and thrilling season finales!

Housebroken – Sunday, July 9th

One of the biggest setbacks to celebrating holidays is fireworks, which becomes a problem for Jill regarding Honey and Chief. She sedates them, causing them to have interesting dreams. Housebroken airs Sunday, July 9th at 9/8c on FOX.
Episode Description: Honey and Chief are sedated by Jill in order to calm their nerves during fireworks; Chief dreams that he is a crusader in Washington D.C. on a mission to put an end to fireworks once and for all; Honey dreams that she is a bipedal poodle.
Miracle Workers – Monday, July 10th
After a long hiatus, the anthology series that travels through time is back for an exciting Season 4. This season the story goes to a dystopian era where lone wanderer Sid and warlord Freya move from an apocalyptic wasteland to the suburbs. Miracle Worker: End Times 2-episode premiere airs Monday, July 10th at 10/9c on TBS.
Episode 1 Description: Lone wanderer Sid and warlord Freya struggle to adjust after moving from the apocalyptic wasteland to the suburbs.
Episode 2 Description: Freya runs for president of the Boomtown Homeowners Association; Morris takes Sid on a perilous business trip.
How I Met Your Father – Tuesday, July 11th
As Jesse prepares to move from his apartment, he uses his keen manipulation skills to get the whole gang to help him pack everything up. How I Met Your Father airs Tuesday, July 11th on Hulu.

Nancy Drew – Wednesday, July 12th

Despite George’s earlier snafu with Bess’s statement for court, Carson teams up with her to get Bess thoroughly prepped. Meanwhile, Nancy and Ace both show up at Nick’s and interrupt his brunch with Jade. Nancy Drew airs Wednesday, July 12th at 8/7c on The CW.

It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia – Wednesday, July 12th
It’s boys vs. girls when the guys crash Dee’s bowling league to compete in a battle of the sexes. Who will come out victorious? It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia airs Wednesday, July 12th at 10/9c on FX.
Episode Description: The guys crash Dee’s bowling league night and compete in a battle of the sexes at a bowling alley owned by the McPoyles; Dee, Artemis The Waitress, and Gail the Snail versus Dennis, Mac, Charlie and Frank in a classic match to prove who is better.
The Afterparty – Wednesday, July 12th

Season 2 continues in much of the same vein as Season 1, only this time, the situation starts at a wedding with the murder of the groom. Everyone in attendance is a suspect leading to some hilarious investigating. The Afterparty Season 2 premieres Wednesday, July 12th on Apple TV+.
Season Description: A wedding is ruined when the groom is murdered and every guest is a suspect. Detective Danner (Haddish) returns to help Aniq (Richardson) and Zoë (Chao) solve whodunnit by questioning family members, star-crossed lovers and business partners, and hearing each suspect’s retelling of the weekend, each with their own unique perspective and visual style.
Platonic – Wednesday, July 12th
Will and Sylvia’s lives continue to careen more toward unstable as tensions erupt during a housewarming party. Platonic season finale airs Wednesday, July 12th on Apple TV+.

Full Circle – Thursday, July 13th

A diverse group of people finds themselves connected through an investigation into a botched kidnapping that uncovers secrets that have long been kept close to the chest. Full Circle premieres Thursday, July 13th on Max.

What We Do in the Shadows – Thursday, July 13th
Laszlo, Nadja, and Nandor are back with more laughs, hijinks, and misunderstandings. Season 5 starts off with a two-part premiere focusing on the vampires discovering what “the mall” is and Nandor and Laszlo trying to be more social with Sean while Nadja investigates her string of bad luck. What We Do in the Shadows Season 5 premieres Thursday, July 13th at 10/9c on FX.
Episode 1 Description: The vampires discover the mall.
Episode 2 Description: Nandor and Laszlo have a night out with Sean and his friends; Nadja discovers the source of her bad luck.
The Blacklist – Thursday, July 13th

The exciting crime drama ends its ten-season run with a two-part series finale. The episodes — aptly named “Raymond Reddington” — have audiences saying goodbye to a beloved character as the task force tries to anticipate his final move. The Blacklist series finale airs Thursday, July 13th at 8/7c on NBC.
Series Finale Part 1 Description: Under pressure from Congressman Hudson’s investigation, the Task Force must try to anticipate Reddington’s next move.

Foundation – Friday, July 14th
More than 100 years after the Season 1 finale, the Cleons are unraveling, and a vengeful queen plots to destroy the Empire. Hari, Gaal, and Salvor give their all to lessen the threat of a newly discovered colony. Foundation Season 2 premieres Friday, July 14th on Apple TV+.
Season Description: More than a century after the season one finale, tension mounts throughout the galaxy in ‘Foundation’ season two. As the Cleons unravel, a vengeful queen plots to destroy Empire from within. Hari, Gaal and Salvor discover a colony of Mentalics with psionic abilities that threaten to alter psychohistory itself.
Run the World – Friday, July 14th
On the Season 2 finale, Renee offers to help with the band’s listening party while Whitney and Ola support one another, despite not really being friends. Meanwhile, Barb finds that it’s better to act while you can than to regret it later on. Run the World airs Friday, July 14th on Starz.
Episode Description: Renee offers to help Jason with the band’s listening party; Whitney turns to Ola for support, but the question still remains whether they can ever be friends; Barb takes her own advice that it’s better to act while you can than live with regret.
The Summer I Turned Pretty – Friday, July 14th

Belly must deal with both Susannah’s cancer returning and the boys, who are fighting for her heart. Meanwhile, a threat to Susannah’s house brings the whole gang together and helps Belly settle her mind about who to choose. The Summer I Turned Pretty premieres Friday, July 14th on Prime Video.

Jack Ryan – Friday, July 14th
The final two installments of Jack Ryan’s final mission are here. Ryan must contend with the information he’s unearthed and whether or not he wants to continue doing the work he’s been doing. Jack Ryan series finale airs Friday, July 14th on Prime Video.
Season Description: The fourth-and-final season of Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan finds the titular character on his most dangerous mission yet: facing an enemy both foreign and domestic.
