Preview — Cruel Summer Season 2 Episode 8: Confess Your Sins
New ties bind when friendships form at the annual school car wash ahead of the crew’s senior year on Cruel Summer Season 2 Episode 8, “Confess Your Sins.”
The episode’s promo video sticks to Winter 1999 and Summer 2000, but the photos tease what to expect in Summer 1999. For instance, it appears as though Cruel Summer will delve deeper into Isabella and Parker’s friendship.
Cruel Summer Season 2 Episode 3, “Bloody Knuckles,” and Cruel Summer Season 2 Episode 6, “The Plunge,” include quick allusions to a budding friendship between the two girls, but “Confess Your Sins” may be when that ball truly gets rolling.
One of the sneak peeks also shares that Isabella and Jeff will share a moment when Isabella comforts Jeff about his break-up with Megan. Isabella tells him, “There’s nothing that you could’ve done, you know. They were kind of inevitable.”
However, Megan and Luke’s “inevitable” relationship may come to a ruthless end in Winter 1999 when Megan and Isabella push Luke for answers.
Meanwhile, Steve pushes Debbie for some of his own, but she’s willing to fight to protect her daughter from being wrongly convicted. But it seems Megan continues to take matters into her own hands — with Isabella by her side — when it comes to getting potentially damaging footage from Ned’s cameras.
