Preview — Yellowjackets Season 2 Episode 1: Friends, Romans, Countrymen
After the gut-wrenching Season 1 finale, Yellowjackets Season 2 Episode 1, “Friends, Romans, Countrymen,” returns with new characters, obstacles, and forces at play.
Picking up two months after Jackie’s death, teen Shauna is having a tough time coping with the loss of her best friend. Meanwhile, things look grim for the girls as food dwindles, so they turn to Lottie and her ritualistic ways to get them through the tough times, almost as a comfort mechanism.
In the present, Jeff and Shauna continue to work together, covering up Adam’s murder while Callie does some citizen detective snooping herself. Natalie struggles with her captors from the Season 1 finale, Taissa struggles with her day-to-day life after being elected, and Misty is busy worrying about keeping Shauna jail-free.
The Season 2 trailer eludes to more catastrophe for the girls, and the promo photos only double down on that sentiment.

Episode Description:
Two months into winter, the survivors cope with falling rations, low morale, and their latest disastrous attempt to freeze a teammate out of the game. Shauna explores the secondary market for Yellowjackets memorabilia, while Taissa, Misty, and Natalie all seek out best friends, both old and new. For those of you keeping the stat book: Lottie Matthews —who the f-? —comes in off the bench.
