Preview — Quantum Leap Season 1 Episode 17: The Friendly Skies
Ben takes flight on Quantum Leap Season 1 Episode 17, “The Friendly Skies.”
On the season’s penultimate episode, Ben leaps into the body of a flight attendant and a mid-air crisis. Ben must save a plane from hijackers and prevent it from crashing into the ocean. No biggie, right?
As if that isn’t enough, they must figure it out blind after the revelations on Quantum Leap Season 1 Episode 16, “Ben, Interrupted,” that Ziggy is compromised.
“Ben, Interrupted’s” cliffhanger not only makes Ben’s mission more dangerous, it also raises questions about how Ziggy became the mole and who’s behind it.
There are a lot of other unanswered questions going into “The Friendly Skies,” too. We still don’t know much about Martinez. We know he kills Addison in the future, but not why he does it. Then there are all the questions about Ian’s future leap and whether Janice has any more secrets.
Hopefully, some of the answers we get on “The Friendly Skies” will start to connect the dots as we head into the season finale.
