Eileen and Roz return to their investigation of Gloria’s murder on Alaska Daily Season 1 Episode 8, “Tell a Reporter Not to Do Something and Suddenly It’s a Party.”
On the episode, the team is still dealing with the fallout from the harrowing events of Alaska Daily Season 1 Episode 7, “Enemy of the People.” But life doesn’t stop for people’s trauma, nor does Eileen and Roz’s investigation.

Fresh revelations point the duo to Gloria’s pastor as a potential suspect. Whatever evidence Eileen and Roz uncover, it’s big enough to result in a direct accusation from both Roz and Gloria’s mother.
It might even be big enough to reclassify the case. That could bring new attention to the investigation. Maybe even new resources.
Elsewhere on the episode, the paper faces some tough financial news as the rest of the team works to get back into the normal swing of things.
“Concerned Citizen” may no longer be an active threat, but his presence still looms large at the Daily offices. How do you think the events of “Enemy of the People” will impact the different members of the team?
