Dynamic Knives Out duo Chris Evans and Ana de Armas are teaming up again for an unconventional romantic comedy.

Ghosted, an Apple Original Film, follows Evans’ Cole Riggan, a helpless romantic sure he has found the girl of his dreams in de Armas’ Sadie — until she leaves him on read.

The trailer starts with Cole stagging a grand romantic gesture to chase a woman he barely knows halfway around the world and win her back.

But this rom-com unexpectedly unravels into a high-octane adventure when he is kidnapped upon arrival in London and pulled into an international espionage ring.

Sadie rescues Cole, revealing herself as the infamous “Tax Man,” a CIA operative on an undercover mission to save the world.

Cole quickly learns why Sadie ghosted him, but his actions must speak louder than words as this hasty gesture to reunite turns into an explosive international team-up.

The smitten farmer will look to Evans’ Captain America skillset to survive this meet cute when the action-packed film premieres April 21 on Apple TV+.

Ghosted underwent notable recastings during production, with Scarlett Johansson set initially to play opposite Evans as Sadie.

It would have marked the first reunion for the actors since their Team Cap days in Avengers: Endgame.

Unfortunately, Johansson exited the project, with Deadline citing “scheduling conflicts” as the reason for her amicable departure from the film.

De Armas’ would later be recruited for the role, commemorating the third film (following The Gray Man and Knives Out) the actress has starred in alongside Evans.

Oddly enough, Ghosted will mark the first film Evans does not play opposite de Armes as an antagonist (that we know of).

The film is directed by Dexter Fletcher, with Evans and de Armas credited as producers. It is also written by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick (Deadpool, Zombieland).
