Following in the footsteps of James Cameron’s action comedy film of the same name, True Lies crashes onto the TV scene with a flashy ensemble of actors and campy spy shenanigans.
True Lies Season 1 Episode 1, “Pilot,” introduces us to an ordinary suburban couple whose lives quickly unravel when Harry Tasker’s wife Helen discovers her boring husband is leading a double life — as a secret agent for a top-secret organization.
Comedic heavyweights Steve Howey (Shameless, Reba) and Ginger Gonzaga (She-Hulk) lead this complicated couple’s dynamic into the field.
They are backed by the extra secret Omega Sector, comprised of super spies Luther Tenet, Maria Ruiz, and Gilbert “Gib” Tanden.
Both groups must learn to coexist when Helen, unknowingly invited along on Harry’s latest mission, is thrown into the action and her husband’s secret occupation.
Harry isn’t the only one who must lie to keep the Tasker family safe.
