Shootings are always messy, but the one on Law & Order Season 22 Episode 14, “Heroes,” is especially so. There are victims left and right and evidence galore when a popular nightclub gets shot up.

Pretty soon, Cosgrove and Shaw are going to realize that the chaos might be a ruse to hide the real target — a singular victim. They are fighting against the nightclub owner and other police from the scene as they gather enough evidence to prove their theory.

When a key piece of evidence ends up missing it is up to Price and Maroun to get a witness to cooperate. The main problem is he values his reputation more than anything else — including the facts.

Episode description: After shots are fired in a popular nightclub, Cosgrove and Shaw suspect the spree was a ruse to target a sole victim. When security footage mysteriously disappears, Price and Maroun must rely on a witness who values his reputation over the facts.
