Preview — Abbott Elementary Season 2 Episode 17: Mural Arts
Some significant developments are brewing on Abbott Elementary Season 2 Episode 17, “Mural Arts,” as the season speeds into its final episodes.
On the episode, Jacob’s latest enrichment efforts pay off as he is able to bring a cool mural arts program to Abbott. By the looks of the preview photos, Ava takes an extra interest in the program. Or, more specifically, she takes an interest in the man running the program.

Ava’s latest hijinks are bound to cause some major headaches for poor Jacob, but they never fail to be a highlight of any episode.
Elsewhere on the episode, there is more news concerning the attempt to turn Abbott into a Legendary Charter School. Despite all the smiles in the preview images, Melissa and Barbara find out about a parent petition that puts the school one step closer to falling into the hands of their rivals.
Given what Melissa learned from her sister about Legendary’s designs on Abbott, you almost have to wonder if this new petition from the parents is an organic effort or something manufactured by Legendary.
Of course, the thing on most viewers’ minds going into “Mural Art” is whether we will see any follow-up from Gregory and Janine’s kiss on Abbott Elementary Season 1 Episode 16, “Teacher Conference.”
Other than a smiley — but somewhat awkward looking — preview picture, there are no clues hinting at what to expect. Still, does anyone believe that either Janine or Gregory are capable of not spiraling after what happened?
