Will Payne Motors be able to sweet-talk Andy Richter?

Because of the latest scandals, Payne has lost their spokesperson, so they are searching for a replacement on American Auto Season 2 Episode 3, “Celebrity.” This leads the team to woo Andy Richter into being their new spokesperson during this episode, which airs Tuesday, February 6th at 8:30/7:30c on NBC.

In the exclusive sneak peek clip below, Katherine offers Elliot’s car to Andy in exchange for agreeing to be their spokesperson. It isn’t until Andy becomes excited about the prospect that Elliot alerts the team to the mix up stating, “that’s my car.”

The actual free car Payne is offering Andy comes driving up and is less appealing than Elliot’s sports car. Katherine whispers to Andy that he should give Andy his car after all.

Katherine insisting one of her team give up their personal vehicle to cover for her own snafu is completely in line with the character we love so much. She is always quick to act without thinking through her words and actions first.

Knowing this team there is bound to be more than just a free car in Andy Richter’s future as they try to woo him. This might be why they end up taking a step back with second thoughts about the whole ploy.
