What to Watch on TV: 9-1-1: Lone Star, Teen Wolf: The Movie, and The Good Doctor

Welcome to a new week and another round of What to Watch on TV for the week of January 22nd! This week some highly anticipated returns, a couple of big moments for fan-favorite couplings, and exciting premieres.

This week we feature 9-1-1: Lone Star, Teen Wolf: The Movie, The Good Doctor, and many more!

The L Word: Generation Q – Sunday, January 22nd

It’s time for Bette and Tina’s wedding, which has been a long time coming. As the friend group gathers for the event things don’t go as planned. Will they be able to recover in time? The L Word: Generation Q airs Sunday, January 22nd at 10/9c on Showtime.

Episode Description: Shane and Sophie challenge old patterns, while Alice discovers `The One’ may be closer than she thinks.

The Good Doctor – Monday, January 23rd

Shaun Murphy and co return with the second half of Season 6. Things are looking dicey for Lea and Shaun when an ultrasound shows some possible complications. The Good Doctor returns Monday, January 23rd at 10/9c on ABC.

Episode Description: Shaun and Lea soon learn that their surprise pregnancy may also come with additional complications. Meanwhile, Doctors Park, Reznick and Allen treat a teen with Gardner’s syndrome whose past surgical history jeopardizes the outcome of his current one

All American – Monday, January 23rd

Billy has a big decision to make, which gets in the way of him truly celebrating his own birthday. Meanwhile, Jordan and Layla have their first major fight, and it puts things into perspective for them. All American returns Monday, January 23rd at 8/7c on The CW.

Episode Description: When Laura (Monet Mazur) throws Billy (Taye Diggs) a surprise birthday party, everyone comes together to roast Billy, but Billy has a looming decision hanging over his head. Spencer (Daniel Ezra) makes an effort to do what’s best for himself, hoping it helps Olivia (Samantha Logan) and him take a step towards moving on. Jayme (guest star Miya Horcher) offers some sage advice to Asher (Cody Christian) about his speech with JJ (Hunter Clowdus), but she ignores her own about watching out for red flags. Meanwhile, Jordan (Michael Evans Behling) and Layla (Greta Onieogou) get in their first fight over something neither of them could have predicted.

9-1-1: Lone Star – Tuesday, January 24th

Strand and Vega team up at the county fair when a series of fast-moving severe thunderstorms hit Austin creating tornadic-force winds. Meanwhile, T.K. and Carlos are planning their upcoming wedding when a secret threatens everything. 9-1-1: Lone Star premieres Tuesday, January 24th at 8/7c on FOX.

Episode Description: Captains Strand and Vega along with the members of the 126 are called into action to a county fair when a “Derecho,” a series of fast-moving group of severe thunderstorms hit Austin, causing hurricanic and tornadic-force winds, heavy rains, flash floods and a wide path of destruction. Owen’s newfound passion for motorcycling puts him on a potentially dangerous path. Tommy has the potential for a romance when she meets an attractive single father (guest star D.B. Woodside). And as T.K. and Carlos prepare for their wedding, a secret from Carlos’ past may stand in their way to happiness.

How I Met Your Father – Tuesday, January 24th

Sophie and her friends are back for more dating, friendship, and all-around living it up in their young adult lives. Sophie has some decisions to make about her future now that she is 30 and relies on her friends to lead her down the right path. How I Met Your Father premieres Tuesday, January 24th on Hulu.

Series Description: Sophie and her close-knit group of friends are in the midst of figuring out who they are, what they want out of life, and how to fall in love in the age of dating apps and limitless options.

Leverage: Redemption – Wednesday, January 25th

The team goes up against a formidable foe when they seek to take back the Maharaja’s crown from them. Getting trapped in the museum and almost being caught makes for a season finale to remember. Leverage: Redemption airs Wednesday, January 25th on Amazon Prime.

Episode Description: When a formidable enemy steals the Maharaja’s crown and traps the crew in the museum, they must find a way out and the crown before they go down for the crime.

Mila and the Multiverse – Wednesday, January 25th

On her 16th birthday, Mila receives the gift of time travel. This allows her to travel through time and parallel universes in the hopes she can bring back her mom. Mila and the Multiverse premieres Wednesday, January 25th on Disney+.

Series Description: For her 16th birthday, Mila receives a very special present. Mila can now travel back and forth between different parallel universes to look for her mother, Elis. But Mila soon discovers that her mother’s disappearance is just the beginning of the story and her journey. Since Elis found out that several universes actually exist in parallel, she has been hunted by a mysterious group called “Os Operadores”. Mila has to adjust to this new and extremely dangerous situation and receives support from her friends Juliana, Vinícius and Pierre. Together with them Mila travels the huge multiverse in search of her mother Elis. An unbelievable adventure full of surprises and dangers awaits the friends.

Teen Wolf: The Movie – Thursday, January 26th

Scott McCall and company come back together, with the addition of a few new faces, to fight off an old foe threatening their home. Teen Wolf: The Movie airs Thursday, January 26th on Paramount+.

Wolf Pack – Thursday, January 26th

Sarah Michelle Gellar plays an arson investigator who finds herself connected to a teen boy and girl when a fire brings forth a supernatural creature. Wolf Pack premieres Thursday, January 26th on Paramount+.

Law & Order: Special Victims Unit – Thursday, January 26th

The 1619 Project – Thursday, January 26th

Poker Face – Thursday, January 26th

Natasha Lyonne stars as Charlie Cale, a woman with the unique ability to determine when someone is lying. She travels around meeting new people and showing off her innate ability to solve crimes. Poker Face premieres Thursday, January 26th on Peacock.

Lockwood and Co – Friday, January 27th
