Law & Order: Organized Crime Season 3 Episode 12 Review: Partners In Crime
The return of Teddy Silas is a wonderful addition to this midseason investigation pivot on Law & Order: Organized Crime Season 3 Episode 12, “Partners In Crime.” To have him go from suspect to investigation aid within the same season is a fun twist we didn’t see coming.
Honestly, it’s a bit surprising Teddy agrees to help the task force at all considering he probably blames them for what happened with his wife and dad. Regardless, his participation is paramount and a great character development for him.
The other fun development comes in the form of Jet who finally gets to show everything she is capable of as a member of the task force.
Jet Becomes Juliet

I have been saying since the beginning that Law & Order: Organized Crime was wasting Jet’s talents by keeping her behind the computer all the time. This episode further proves that I have been right in my assessment.
Jet finally gets to go undercover as a card dealer in Teddy’s club which shows that she has the charm to come face-to-face with suspects. What is even better is she knows exactly how to play these high-power, high-danger men in a way that gets them to put their guard down.
Jet is perfect at instigating and maintaining the long game. As her interactions with Eoman’s associate and Eoman himself at the end show us.
Her transformation into Juliet is so seamless that even I have a hard time believing she’s actually a cop under all the make-up and fancy dress. Ainsley Seiger shines in this new opportunity that is opening doors for Jet as an active, in-the-field part of the team.
Moving into the second half of this season it appears as though Jet’s Juliet will be integral to the task force bringing Eamon Murphy down. We love to see a strong, authoritative Jet!
Bell’s Partner Troubles

So far on Law & Order: Organized Crime we haven’t been privy to much of who Bell was before the task force. Sure, we have seen her personal life with her wife and son, but nothing else beyond that.
It is nice to see Bell enlisting Stabler to support her as she speaks at the parole hearing for the man who killed her partner a decade before. This is the first time we have heard much about Bell’s old partner and to have her put that trust in Stabler is huge.
The chemistry between Truitt and Meloni during this scene cannot be understated. The trust these characters have in one another is palpable because the actors have the same level of trust in one another.

Bringing up Benson right after the events of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit hits a bit fresh, but it engages the correct emotions needed for the moment. Bell needs to be reassured that she isn’t the only one who has a strong connection to her prior partner — and Stabler can provide her with that because of Benson.
What’s disappointing about how this episode ends is knowing Bell might never get the justice her partner truly deserves. With the man who was sent to prison for his death — but might actually be innocent — ending up deceased the case is going to be an uphill battle.
I’ll be interested to see how much Stabler is going to step up for this very personal case. After all, no one knows better than him the lengths you’d go to for a partner you have a very strong bond with — even after they are gone.
