Preview — House of the Dragon Season 1 Episode 10: The Black Queen
Rhaenyra and Daemon prepare for war with The Greens on House of the Dragon Season 1 Episode 10, “The Black Queen.”
After an intense season-long build-up, the climactic season finale is upon us. We see Rhaenys warning Rhaenyra and Daemon of Alicent and Otto’s betrayal, giving them enough time to prepare their defenses. Based on the promo video below, “The Black Queen” seems like it could be the best episode of all season.
Battle lines will be drawn, sides will be chosen, and by the end of the episode, the realm will be divided; those who decide Rhaenyra as queen and those who choose Aegon as king. I’m looking forward to the battle between families and how Rhaenyra and Daemon plan to face Vhaghar and win.
Beating Vhaghar will be a severe feat, especially with him wielded by Aemond. But what’s more intriguing and thought-provoking is whether House of the Dragon will follow the books and kill a beloved son or if they’ll stray away from them like they do with Laenor.
It’ll be interesting to see how the series will address this long-awaited battle and what cliffhanger lies in wait for us.
