We’re getting close to Halloween, but there’s still time for a rom-com before devoting yourself to all things spooky. Watch Kat Graham fall in love in Verona on Love in the Villa, which premieres on September 1 on Netflix.

Film Description: A young woman (Kat Graham) takes a trip to romantic Verona, Italy, after a break up, only to find that the villa she reserved was double-booked, and she’ll have to share her vacation with a cynical and very good-looking British man (Tom Hopper).

Prime Video is offering us a chance to step back into Middle-earth, but with a twist — we’re going back thousands of years before the setting of the films and novels. The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power premieres with two episodes on September 2 on Prime Video with new episodes releasing weekly.

Series Description: This epic drama is set thousands of years before the events of J.R.R. Tolkien’s The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings, and will take viewers back to an era in which great powers were forged, kingdoms rose to glory and fell to ruin, unlikely heroes were tested, hope hung by the finest of threads, and the greatest villain that ever flowed from Tolkien’s pen threatened to cover all the world in darkness. Beginning in a time of relative peace, the series follows an ensemble cast of characters, both familiar and new, as they confront the long-feared re-emergence of evil to Middle-earth. From the darkest depths of the Misty Mountains, to the majestic forests of the elf-capital of Lindon, to the breathtaking island kingdom of Númenor, to the furthest reaches of the map, these kingdoms and characters will carve out legacies that live on long after they are gone.

Wedding Season (Hulu) – September 8

You have to pick a side — the bride or the other man — and determine which one of them killed the groom and his entire family. It’s not the wedding anyone was expecting, but it’s bound to be entertaining. Wedding Season premieres on September 8 on Hulu with all eight episodes.

Series Description: The genre-busting series tells the story of Katie and Stefan who fall for each other at a wedding and begin an affair, despite Katie already having a fiancé. Two months later at Katie’s wedding, her new husband and his entire family are murdered. The police think Stefan did it. Stefan thinks Katie did it. And no one knows for sure what the truth is…

It’s time to say goodbye to Diane Lockhart and the lawyers of Reddick & Associates. The final season of The Good Fight premieres on September 8 on Paramount+ with episodes releasing weekly.

Season Description: Diane feels like she’s going crazy, struggling with an uneasy sense of déjà vu, with the overturning of Roe v. Wade, to voting rights, to Cold War aggressions returning. Meanwhile, the lawyers of Reddick & Associates wonder if the violence that they see all around them points to an impending civil war.

The Handmaid’s Tale Season 5 (Hulu) – September 14

Serena and June are trying to adjust to life, and plot their next move, after the murder of Commander Waterford. The Handmaid’s Tale premieres with two episodes on September 14 on Hulu with new episodes releasing weekly.

Season Description: June faces consequences for killing Commander Waterford while struggling to redefine her identity and purpose. The widowed Serena attempts to raise her profile in Toronto as Gilead’s influence creeps into Canada. Commander Lawrence works with Nick and Aunt Lydia as he tries to reform Gilead and rise in power. June, Luke and Moira fight Gilead from a distance as they continue their mission to save and reunite with Hannah

Vampire Academy (Peacock) – September 15

Between the source material and Julie Plec’s expertise in adapting vampire shows, Vampire Academy is sure to be must-watch fall TV. Vampire Academy debuts with four episodes on September 15 on Peacock with new episodes releasing weekly.

Series Description: From executive producers Julie Plec & Marguerite MacIntyre comes a story of friendship, romance and danger. In a world of privilege and glamour, two young women’s friendship transcends their strikingly different classes as they prepare to complete their education and enter vampire society. One as a powerful Royal, the other a half-vampire Guardian trained to protect against the savage ‘Strigoi’ who threaten to tear their society apart. That is, if Royal infighting doesn’t do the job first.   

Fate: The Winx Saga Season 2 (Netflix) – September 16

We’re headed back to Alfea, which is now under the control of Rosalind, and the Winx Club Suite finds themselves in the middle of yet another dangerous mystery. Fate: the Winx Saga Season 2 premieres on September 16 on Netflix.

Season Description: School’s back in session under the militant authority of Alfea’s former Headmistress Rosalind. With the Burned Ones gone, Dowling “disappeared,” and Silva imprisoned for treason, the Alfea of last year has grown up with new magic, new romances, and new faces. From the mind of Jennifer Kayton Robinson comes a dark comedy following two high school girls as they plot revenge against their tormentors. Do Revenge debuts on September 16 on Netflix.

Film Description: After a clandestine run-in, Drea (Alpha, fallen it girl) and Eleanor (beta, new alt girl) team up to go after each other’s tormentors. Do Revenge is a subverted Hitchcock-ian dark comedy featuring the scariest protagonists of all: teenage girls.

Reboot (Hulu) – September 20

This Hulu series follows a beloved sitcom that is in the process of being rebooted, causing the cast to deal with their unresolved issues. Reboot premieres with two episodes on September 20 on Hulu with new episodes releasing weekly.

Series Description: Hulu reboots an early 2000’s family sitcom, forcing its dysfunctional cast back together. Now they must deal with their unresolved issues in today’s fast-changing world.

Andor (Disney+) – September 21

Taking place prior to the events of Rogue One, Andor reunites us with Cassian Andor as he learns how he can make a difference. Andor premieres with three episodes on September 21 on Disney+ with new episodes releasing weekly.

Series Description: The Andor series will explore a new perspective from the Star Wars galaxy, focusing on Cassian Andor’s journey to discover the difference he can make. The series brings forward the tale of the burgeoning rebellion against the Empire and how people and planets became involved. It’s an era filled with danger, deception and intrigue where Cassian will embark on the path that is destined to turn him into a rebel hero.

One man’s dedication to his friends leads him on a thrilling journey as he travels to Vietnam to deliver a piece of home to his friends on the front lines. The Greatest Beer Run Ever premieres on September 30 on Apple TV+.

Film Description: To show support for his neighborhood friends serving in Vietnam, Chickie Donohue (Zac Efron) decides to do something totally outrageous: travel to the frontline by himself to bring the soldiers a little piece of home — their favorite can of American beer. Between the all-star cast and stunning animation, you’ll want to carve time out for this film. Entergalactic debuts on September 30 on Netflix.

Film Description: Scott “Kid Cudi” Mescudi and Kenya Barris join forces to present Entergalactic, an original, animated story about a young artist named Jabari — voiced by Mescudi — as he attempts to balance love and success. Finding the latter brings Jabari a step closer to the former, when moving into his dream apartment introduces him to his new neighbor, photographer it-girl, Meadow — voiced by Jessica Williams. An explosion of art, music, and fashion, Entergalactic takes place in the only city that can handle all three: New York.

Jungle (Prime Video) – September 30

Jungle is told through a mix of music and dialogue, which is bound to make it a unique and engaging viewing experience. Jungle premieres on September 30 on Prime Video.

Series Description: Jungle follows the connected lives of several strangers, each facing their own struggle, viewed through the prism of UK rap and drill music, and giving a perspective on an often unseen world. Frequently misunderstood, it’s a world where one law governs everything: only the strongest will survive. As the strangers’ worlds begin to unravel around them, they come to the realisation that every action, no matter how small, has a consequence.

Our favorite sisters are back and ready to wreak havoc on Salem once again. Hocus Pocus 2 premieres on September 30 on Disney+.

Film Description: It’s been 29 years since someone lit the Black Flame Candle and resurrected the 17th-century sisters, and they are looking for revenge. Now it is up to three high-school students to stop the ravenous witches from wreaking a new kind of havoc on Salem before dawn on All Hallow’s Eve.
