The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers Season 2 Trailer Released by Disney+
Josh Duhamel meets the Mighty Ducks in the first trailer for The Might Ducks: Game Changers Season 2.
Lauren Graham’s Alex Morrow relocates her team to “an intense summer hockey institute in California” called Epic.
Duhamel’s Colin Cole is the camp director, and his tactics couldn’t be more different from what The Mighty Ducks are used to, especially after winning back the Mighty Ducks team name last season.

Disney+ describes Colin as a “charming yet hardcore former NHL player,” which comes across in the trailer. He’s all about the rules, which include no pizza and definitely no fun.
Epic is “a place for kids to get excellent at hockey — without school to get in the way.” Alex puts it best when she says, “This is not summer camp. This is psycho.”
In The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers Season 2, the team will try to make it through Epic’s “super-competitive environment.” During that journey, “they’re faced with the question: Can you win summer?”
If Colin Cole has any say in it, the answer is yes. But Alex and the Mighty Ducks might be the right people to remind Colin that hockey can be fun, too.

If not, Alex is ready to go toe-to-toe with Colin as she tries her best to trash-talk him in the trailer, saying, “I just needed to let you know I’m going to take you down.”
Duhamel comes on The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers scene after Emilio Estevez exited the series after its debut season. Estevez reprised his role of Gordon Bombay from the 1992 movie and its 1994 and 1996 sequels.
In November 2021, Deadline reported that Disney Television Studios’ ABC Signature decided “not to pick up Estevez’s option for Season 2 after weeks of back and forth with his team over the show’s Covid vaccination requirement.”
The report noted that reps for the studio and Estevez declined to comment at that time.

In its report about Duhamel’s casting, TV Line shared that “Cathy Yuspa and Josh Goldsmith will return as showrunners for Season 2 and executive-produce alongside series creator Steve Brill, Lauren Graham, George Heller, Brad Petrigala, Jordan Kerner, and Jon Avnet.”
ET Canada reports that Naveen Paddock joins the show as a series regular alongside the returning cast of Graham, Duhamel, Brady Noon, Maxwell Simkins, Swayam Bhatia, Luke Islam, Taegen Burns, and DJ Watts.
The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers‘ Season 2 premiere drops on Disney+ on Wednesday, September 28. New episodes will drop weekly after that.
