25 Unforgettable Moments from Teen Wolf
From 2011 to 2017, Teen Wolf took fans on a journey consisting of werewolves, friends, family, and love. The bonds created on the show and amongst the fans are something that can never be recreated.
We’ve decided to create a list of those moments from Teen Wolf that made us laugh, cry, and gasp. We are talking about those moments that made this series a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
In no particular order, here are the 25 Most Unforgettable Moments from Teen Wolf.
1. Everyone Returns To Beacon Hills

The second half of Teen Wolf Season 6 was so different because the main cast wasn’t in high school anymore and some of them have left town. However, in the final few episodes, everyone trickles back into town – even some who haven’t been seen in years.
Fans get to see Chris Argent go on the search for Derek Hale, who is fighting his own version of the militants taking over Beacon Hills. We also get to see Jackson come back from London with his new boyfriend, Ethan, in tow, which tells fans he is gay.
The most iconic return is, of course, Stiles and Derek arriving in Beacon Hills in Stiles’ jeep. Having the whole pack back together is the reunion this show deserved to go out on.
2. “You’re my brother”

You ask anyone to tell you something about Teen Wolf – aside from the fact that it’s about werewolves – and most will reference this moment. That’s because it’s the greatest moment that truly solidified the bond between Scott and Stiles.
During Season 3 there were some mysterious forces making moves in Beacon Hills that created some chaotic moments, one of which was wolfsbane being released into the air on a school cross-country trip.
The wolfsbane affected Scott to the point of wanting to commit suicide. He stands in a pool of gasoline with a flare, and it’s only after Stiles tells him those iconic words that he breaks out of the spell and moves out of harm’s way.
3. Lydia Revealed As a Banshee

Lydia being a banshee has to be the coolest supernatural reveal of the whole series. It had been this shrouded mystery since she was bit by Peter back in Season 1.
Then in Season 3 we finally find out that the reason she could see “visions” was not because she was psychic. Being a banshee is hands down the best path the writers could have created for the tough-as-nails Lydia Martin.
When Jennifer Blake kidnaps her and ties her up, Lydia has the urge to scream thus revealing herself as a banshee. It’s a moment that really brings Lydia to the forefront of the core group and demonstrates her power and worth.
4. Peter is the Creator of the Deadpool With Meredith Enacting the Plan

The plot of Season 4 was probably one of the least nonsensical plots of the back half of the show. In all honesty, the idea of a deadpool list is really cool and introduced us to a whole slew of new supernaturals.
Unfortunately, it also gave us the mystery of who this “Benefactor” was. All season there were signs and clues that pointed us toward the final reveal.
While Peter doing something nefarious wasn’t necessarily shocking, the fact that he also didn’t know about being the creator added to the shock value. It also gave us a reason to truly care about Meredith.
She proved to us that she is just as villainous as Peter when it comes to eliminating people perceived as threats. It also highlighted just how far Peter has come since the days he was trapped within his own body after the fire.
5. Parrish Revealed As a Hellhound

If the reveal of Lydia as a supernatural being was iconic during Season 3, then the reveal that Deputy Jordan Parrish was worth 5 million dollars on the deadpool list was equally so. Unfortunately, fans had to wait until Season 5 to find out what exactly made Parrish “supernatural.”
We already knew that he could survive being burned alive, but beyond that, no one had any clues as to his identity. But then, during Season 5 Parrish started to reveal some other traits that were equally puzzling.
So, when he is revealed as a hellhound for the first time, fans were ecstatic. It was one of those reveals that was the perfect payout for all the build-up that preceded it – which Teen Wolf doesn’t always succeed at.
6. “Where do you get your juice?”

One of the most quotable moments on Teen Wolf happens within the first few episodes of Season 1. Scott has just turned into a werewolf and is trying his best to not reveal that to others.
Unfortunately, the school bully, Jackson, notices that Scott is suddenly 10x better at lacrosse than he was before. He starts thinking that Scott is doing steroids and, therefore, tries to catch the teen in a trap to get the truth.
He corners Scott against the lockers and asks the iconic question, “Where do you get your juice?” This moment is memorable because Scott is so confused by it he answers thinking Jackson means actual juice which seals the humor of this moment.
“I don’t know. My mom does all the grocery shopping.”
7. Stiles And Sheriff Reunion Moments

The bonds between the teens on the show are definitely something fans come back for again and again. However, there is one particular bond that stands out above the rest.
We are talking about Sheriff Stilinski and Stiles. These two epitomize what it means to have a father/son relationship.
Over the course of 6 seasons, these two have been used against each other by the various villains. So naturally, when the fight is won, there is nothing more rewarding than watching Stiles fall into his father’s arms for that warm embrace we all feel in our souls.
They would do anything for each other. Therefore, we decided to lump all of their reunions into one moment on this list because we can’t choose one over the other.
8. Derek is Anchored by Stiles After Boyd’s Death

We’re trying to stay away from moments that put one ship above another, but this moment makes the list because it marked a change in Derek’s overall character. Before this moment, he was stand-offish and took an angrier approach to how he handled having a pack of betas.
When the Alpha Pack forces Derek’s hand and makes him kill one of his betas it breaks something within Derek. It’s not entirely clear what exactly that is until he allows Stiles to comfort him with a hand on the shoulder.
I, and most fans, truly believe this moment showed us a kinder, gentler Derek. It moved him away from his angry, vengeful persona and more toward the guiding light he ultimately became by the end of his run on the show.
9. Everyone Thinks Stiles Is Dying

You can’t make a list of Teen Wolf moments without focusing many of them on moments between Scott and Stiles. Their brotherhood is the true backbone of this show.
They always have the biggest moments because they love each other so deeply that it creates its own kind of drama. During Season 3 there was a moment where Void had completely taken over Stiles but was still dormant.
This connection caused Stiles to display symptoms that were reminiscent of what killed his mother. That final hug between Scott and Stiles before his brain scan is one that fans still tear up about to this day.
Their love for one another breaks our collective hearts because we don’t want to imagine a world without either of them in it. And yet, this moment made that a little too real.
10. Scott Pulls Stiles Out of Void With His Wolf Howl

Scott being a werewolf has always been the main focus of the show. However, during Season 3, that part of him really took hold and defined who he was amongst the people he surrounded himself with.
When Stiles is stuck in the Void with the Nogitsune taking complete control of his body, Scott is tasked with finding a way to separate him from it. This is when he realizes that his werewolf abilities can actually make a difference.
Scott is told he should howl to signal his pack – a move that signifies once and for all that his ragtag group of friends are his “pack” even if most of them aren’t even wolves. His howl wakes up Stiles and forces him to break free from the Nogitsune in what is probably one of the most visually stunning TV moments.
11. Stiles Kills Donovan/ “Some of us are human”

Scott and Stiles are brothers, but unlike most siblings, they rarely ever fight or stay mad at each other. Then in Season 5, Scott makes some moves that really invalidate Stiles and causes the largest rift in their friendship to date.
This fact is really driven home by a moment between Scott and Stiles, in the rain, where Scott asks Stiles about murdering Donovan in cold blood. Stiles has been grappling with the accidental death at his hands for some time now – alone – so Scott’s lack of trust in him makes him snap.
The anger that exudes from Stiles as he accuses Scott of siding with Theo over his own brother is something none of us ever expected. The real kicker is when Stiles points out that Scott blindly expects everyone to live at his standard, despite it being a ridiculously impossible one to achieve.
12. “I’m a thousand years old! You can’t kill me!”

Void! Stiles is hands down the greatest villain Teen Wolf has ever managed to pull off. Dylan O’Brien’s performance as Void is one that deserved an Emmy Award, but I digress.
While the nogitsune has many iconic moments, there is none more chilling and impressive as Void’s last stand. Scott is trying to kill the nogitsune and end the takeover of his best friend and the villain isn’t having it.
The cinematography of this moment adds to the power of Void’s words as he walks toward Lydia and Stiles insisting he is indestructible. Which makes Scott’s move of biting him that much more thrilling, it doesn’t take away from Void’s own moment — which is definitely hard to do in a faceoff of that magnitude.
13. Scott Betrays Gerard, and He Mutters the Iconic, “Mountain Ash!”

Gerard is one of the most hated characters from the show, behind his own daughter – Kate. There is a reason most of his moments during the six-season run aren’t on this list.
However, no one can forget the moment he kidnaps Stiles and tortures him all to bring out both Derek and Scott so he can force their hand for his own gain.
But the joke is on him when it’s revealed that Scott has been playing him this whole time by lacing his medication with Mountain Ash, so when he gets bitten, it works against him.
As he screams in anguish over the betrayal, Stiles comes storming in in his jeep with Lydia and crashes the party. It’s all an epic end to a two-season villain who seemed impossible to stop.
14. Allison’s Death

Of course, Allison has to be a part of this list. Her impact on Teen Wolf and its fans continues to resonate to this day.
Her death is memorable because it was so unexpected. The whole season fans had a fear that someone was going to die by the finale, but no one expected it to be sweet, badass Allison.
Not only that, her death is in the arms of Scott, which just makes everyone all emotional. She even mentions that dying in the arms of her first love is something she’s happy about.
What really cinches this moment is that Chris arrives too late to even say goodbye. She is the last of his family and she dies without him being able to give her that final fatherly sendoff.
15. “Be Your Own Anchor”

If there is one quote that epitomizes the overall theme of Teen Wolf the series it is the one uttered by Mama McCall herself. It comes after Scott, Allison, and Stiles sacrifice themselves in order to find their parents from the Darach.
Scott is having trouble with controlling his shift and tells his mom it’s because Allison is his anchor but that they broke up. She gives him the sympathy only a mother can give, but then tells him that he needs to focus his control from within not with another person.
“Be Your Own Anchor” is iconic to a werewolf trying to regain his control after the loss of his anchor, but also to those of us who are human. The concept of being enough for yourself to make it through is universal and timeless.
16. The Argent Code Is Changed

Since the beginning of the Argent Family Code, there has been one phrase to drive their motivations. For generations, that code drove them all to follow the rules no matter the situation.
When Allison is indoctrinated into the family business, she is taught the original family code, “We Hunt Those Who Hunt Us.” At first, she follows that code, but she does so reluctantly because of her relationship with Scott McCall.
Then, after a series of events put Allison as the matriarch of the family she tells her father that the family code has to change because they are better than what their family has been doing for years. She tells him that they need to start protecting those they originally hunted because they aren’t all bad.
Thus, the new family code, “We Protect Those Who Can’t Protect Themselves,” was born.
17. Stiles Revealed As Void By Stabbing Scott

For some time in Season 3, the whole gang makes moves trying to figure out who is being possessed by the dark fox spirit. There are moments where they think that it’s possibly Stiles who has been possessed, but ultimately, they all agree that there is no way a spirit like that would want Stiles.
Then in a quick turn of events, Stiles is in the school with Scott and Kira trying to bring out the spirit and hopefully defeat it. But then, Stiles turns on them and reveals that he is in fact the trickster spirit by stabbing Scott with Kira’s sword.
This moment is another shining example of how phenomenal an actor Dylan O’Brien is. His actions as the trickster speak almost louder than the words themselves. No one will ever forget the way he taps his fingers along the hilt of the sword before he twists it.
18. Derek’s “Death”/Final Transformation

Most of the B-Plot of Season 4, with the Berserkers, is forgettable. In fact, many fans forget it even exists except for one final iconic moment.
The gang is about to go and save Scott from the fate of The Berserker, when Derek is attacked and lays on the ground dying. They all stop, torn between saving Scott and saving Derek.
Derek insists that the group leave him behind to die. But, he doesn’t die. Instead, he appears to die and then comes back in his fully transformed self as a wolf.
It’s the ultimate honor a born wolf can achieve and Derek comes from one of the strongest lines of born wolves – the Hales. This is the moment Derek transcends into his purpose and moves away from the version of himself he’d been since the fire killed his family.
19. Malia is Peter’s Daughter

If there is one good thing to come out of Teen Wolf Season 4’s deadpool list it’s that Malia realizes she is actually part of the Hale family. Further, she finds out that her father is Peter and her mother is the person they call “Desert Wolf.”
This reveal shocked so many fans, especially the ones who had thought during the first two seasons that Jackson would be revealed as being Peter’s son. Malia isn’t the one most would’ve picked to be Peter’s child, but it definitely flips a switch within both of them.
Peter is never going to be an inherently good person, however, learning about Malia starts him down a path toward better behavior. It’s the redemption his character needed, but probably didn’t deserve.
20. Sheriff Says, “I have a son. His name is Mieczyslaw.”

For the first half of the final season, the whole of Beacon Hills has forgotten that Stiles even existed. It’s a side effect of Stiles being part of the Wild Hunt, a thing cooked up by the previous season’s villains — the Dread Doctors.
The pack knows they need to remember something that is missing, but they just can’t put their finger on what exactly that is. Until Lydia starts realizing that she’s been writing the word Mischief over and over again and that word connects to whoever they are trying to find.
In order to bring Stiles back from the Wild Hunt, those who love him have to remember him by name. So naturally, it’s Sheriff Stilinski who breaks that spell and tells everyone that he remembers having a son and that his name is Mieczyslaw.
21. Scott Becomes the True Alpha

Teen Wolf Season 3 has definitely dominated this list, mostly because it is the most unforgettable season. One of those iconic moments is at the end of the first half of the season when Scott is able to fight off the mountain ash enclosing him.
He pushes on the barrier until his strength and goodwill push him beyond the magic of the dust and allow him to attack Jennifer and the Alphas. Even more, Scott changes from a beta wolf to an alpha wolf.
It is later revealed that he is more than just an alpha, he is what is called a True Alpha. He gained his power not by killing an alpha, but by force of will – which is much more noble.
22. “I am the Alpha of Alphas” Speech From Deucalion

One of the most iconic moments of the final episodes for the first half of Season 3 was Deucalion telling Derek why he should be feared. He and a few of his Alpha pack have cornered Derek in his loft to prove once and for all that he’s not the alpha he could be.
Deucalion goes into fierce mode and tells everyone in the room that he is the king of alphas, but of course, he doesn’t just say that without a bit of intimidation. He uses dramatic language and a menacing tone as he turns to face Derek.
It’s a scene that many fans can quote word for word and often will. He is truly one of the greatest adversaries of the whole series because, as the show grew, so did he.
By the end, Deucalion was as well-rounded an alpha as one could hope him to be. But at this moment, he is a threat to all who live in Beacon Hills — and he knows it.
23. Jackson Is the Kanima

For all of Season 1, Jackson treated the other characters like utter crap. Even his girlfriend Lydia wasn’t immune to his dickish behavior.
However, in an attempt to continue to one-up Scott McCall he crosses Derek at the wrong time. Derek then shoves his wolf claws into the back of Jackson’s neck.
This sends the school bully on a journey of confusion and anticipation. From the outside, it doesn’t seem anything has happened, but then in Season 2, audiences start to realize something is up with Jackson.
It isn’t until Matt comes along and uses Jackson to manipulate Derek and Scott that everyone realizes Jackson has become a sort of shapeshifter lizard called a Kanima.
It’s a shame Jackson didn’t stick around Beacon Hills very long after that because it would’ve been great to see him evolve with that new identity. Season 6 wasn’t nearly enough Jackson to satisfy us — hopefully, the movie will change that.
24. Derek Is Turned Into Young Derek

Having Ian Michael Nelson playing the young version of Derek is one of the best decisions made on Teen Wolf. He was so popular during a flashback episode in Season 3 that the show brought him back for a few episodes in Season 4.
Derek being turned back into a teenager because of some weird magic enacted by Kate is a frustratingly uninspired storyline overall, but we did get some great Young Derek moments out of it.
The humor of Scott and Stiles trying to keep Young Derek a secret from Scott’s FBI father is one for the ages. They bring back the fake name of Miguel, and hilarity ensues.
What makes these moments truly unforgettable is how great Nelson is at mimicking well-known Derek mannerisms that Hoechlin created for the character. These two actors truly made fans believe that they are both Derek Hale.
25. Scott Bites Liam

One thing Scott decided early on as a werewolf was that he wasn’t going to ever bite another person. He hated that his choice in the matter got taken away from him and Derek’s early attitude about the bite being a gift left a sour taste in his mouth on the whole thing.
Unfortunately, during Teen Wolf Season 4, Scott is trying to save Liam Dunbar from falling to his death and so he catches him by clamping his mouth on the boy’s wrist. This causes Liam to become Scott’s first, and only, beta.
The relationship is extremely strained at first because Liam is a naturally volatile person and he already didn’t like Scott because of their run-in at lacrosse practice. On the other side of things Scott is wracked with intense guilt about the whole situation and can’t believe he would do such a horrible thing to someone who never wanted it.
It’s a memorable moment for fans because we all love Liam the beta, but also because it’s rare we get to see this side of Scott. He’s a true alpha because he tries his best to protect people without harming them, and in this moment, he harmed an innocent.
