Preview — Peaky Blinders Season 6: Final Season Promises Intense Ending
The time has come for the beloved British period drama Peaky Blinders to end. Netflix releases all six episodes of Peaky Blinders Season 6 on Friday, June 10th.
The crime show follows the Shelby family in their fragile grasp of power as the leading gang, the Peaky Blinders, in post-World War 1 Birmingham, England. It’s a dark and action-packed drama that sees anti-hero and flawed protagonist Tommy Shelby, played by Irish actor Cillian Murphy, face different antagonists in each season while he tries to protect his family.
The show became a sleeper hit, attracting a cult-like following over the five first seasons in the United States.
The season’s trailer promises a dark and action-packed ending to the show with the return of cast members, including Anya Taylor-Joy as supporting character Gina Grey, Tom Hardy as Jewish gang leader Alfie Solomans, Paul Anderson as Tommy’s brother Arthur Shelby, Finn Cole as Michael Gray, Sophie Rundle as Ada Shelby, Harry Kirton as Finn Shelby, and Sam Claflin as an evil fascist antagonist.
Sadly, Aunt Polly, a fan-favorite character throughout the series, will be absent since actress Helen McCory tragically past away in 2021 from cancer. The cast has dedicated the final season of Peaky Blinders in her honor.
