‘The Boys’ Season 3 Trailer Released by Prime Video
With less than a month left until The Boys Season 3 premieres on Prime Video, the streamer finally dropped the official trailer of what’s to come for our love-to-hate-’em maniacal superheroes. Is that a dance number I see?
Prime Video also confirmed that three episodes of The Boys would be released as the “premiere” on June 3, 2022. After that, the remainder of the eight-episode season will drop once a week until the finale.
The trailer gives us our most extensive look at Jensen Ackles’ Soldier Boy, the newest super to wreak havoc on The Boys. While the newest member of the cast, Soldier Boy, is the original Superhero and the first super celebrity. Watch out, Homelander!

When The Boys Season 3 premieres, it will have been a little over a year and a half since the last time we saw Hughie, Billy, and The Seven in The Boys Season 2.
As a refresh, The Boys Season 2 followed Homelander’s twisted journey with fatherhood, Billy’s attempts to reconnect with his wife, and a series of terrorist attacks by way of exploding heads.
Oh, and let’s not forget the rise and fall of Stormfront, a Nazi terrorist that didn’t age and was hiding as a modern-day superhero.
By the Season 2 finale, the show left us with a twist that has lasting implications for The Boys Season 3 — the congresswoman so keen on surveilling the supes is actually a super herself. And she’s responsible for the terroristic exploding heads.

This reveal poses a major problem for Billy, Hughie and the proverbial “boys,” who had outed Vought and the Super V compound to the public, hoping that the US Government could step in somehow.
Based on the footage for The Boys Season 3, it looks like our boys have actually calmed down a bit, working more within the lines of the government. The Seven have also been reined in and are back to being the face of the nation’s defense.
The most intriguing part of the new The Boys Season 3 trailer comes towards the end, when Billy gets a chance to take some of the Super V compound, providing him with superpowers for 24 hours.
But like Mother’s Milk says, “The whole point of what we do, is that no one should have that kind of power.” So I guess we’ll have to see how that turns out for everyone involved.

The Boys Season 3 description: The Boys is a fun and irreverent take on what happens when superheroes—who are as popular as celebrities, as influential as politicians, and as revered as gods—abuse their superpowers rather than use them for good. Intent on stopping the corrupt superheroes, The Boys, a group of vigilantes, continue their heroic quest to expose the truth about The Seven and Vought—the multibillion-dollar conglomerate that manages the superheroes and covers up their dirty secrets. It’s the seemingly powerless against the super powerful.
The series stars Karl Urban, Jack Quaid, Antony Starr, Erin Moriarty, Dominique McElligott, Jessie T. Usher, Laz Alonso, Chace Crawford, Tomer Capone, Karen Fukuhara, Nathan Mitchell, Colby Minifie, Claudia Doumit, and Jensen Ackles.
