Preview — Stranger Things Season 4 Volume 1: The Biggest Installment Yet

Previews, Stranger Things

The gang is separated when we first meet them, six months after the end of Stranger Things Season 3, on Stranger Things Season 4 Volume 1. This separation allows for time with different groups and unexpected pairings as they navigate new and old mysteries in Hawkins and beyond.

Season 4 Volume 1 brings new chapters, such as high school for many of our favorite characters, but the lingering threat of the Upside Down remains. And as Max voices in the promo video, things are still hard for the group following the Battle of Starcourt.

As the photos and promo video reveal, to the surprise of very few, Hopper is alive! His journey out of his current predicament will inevitably make for a wild storyline, and we’re all hoping to see him reunite with Eleven, Joyce, and the rest of the group as soon as possible.

It also appears that Eleven is crucial to the impending “war” coming for Hawkins, putting her in danger but also forcing her to regain her extraordinary abilities in time to save the world again.

With the return of scene-stealer Murray and the addition of new characters, Stranger Things Season 4 Volume 1 will inevitably keep us on the edge of our seats and anxiously awaiting Volume 2.

Check out the photos and promo video below for a preview!

Season description: It’s been six months since the Battle of Starcourt, which brought terror and destruction to Hawkins. Struggling with the aftermath, our group of friends are separated for the first time — and navigating the complexities of high school hasn’t made things any easier. In this most vulnerable time, a new and horrifying supernatural threat surfaces, presenting a gruesome mystery that, if solved, might finally put an end to the horrors of the Upside Down.
