Girls5Eva Review: B.P.E (Season 2 Episode 6)
As Girls5Eva nears the end of recording their album, the show nears the end of its season. This means the music and madness can only escalate on the last few episodes.
Girls5Eva Season 2 Episode 6, “B.P.E,” showcases just why Scott is becoming one of the best-supporting characters on the show. He’s not a showy character but often surprises viewers. Viewers can count on Scott for a laugh and now we can count on him to delight our ears.
The karaoke scene highlights Daniel Breaker’s wonderful voice. It also may send Girls5Eva fans to YouTube to watch more of his musical performances.

Wickie, Dawn, and Scott singing “B.P.E” is one of the best moments of the show so far. It should bring joy to theater fans. It is that good.
All three Broadway and theater powerhouses give so much passion and enthusiasm to such a silly but oddly empowering song. Hopefully, we get more scenes of those three characters singing together.
“B.P.E” showcases that the seemingly less insane characters aren’t as nice as they often seem. Gloria has some dark impulses because of her past traumas, and Dawn is “back door dawning” people left and right.
These “B.P.E” revelations help to emphasize that all of the group members are wacky in their own ways.

The P.B.A.G storyline with Summer and Gloria didn’t add much to the episode, but it helps remind viewers how many truly bad takes this country had in the ‘90s and early ‘00s. It also reminds viewers that Punk’d and shows like it may have been a little traumatic for forced participants.
“B.P.E.” also once again highlights that Summer is not the dumb blonde that she pretends to be. She automatically knew their past behavior was less than ethical and tries to make amends.
Wickie also once again learns a valuable lesson, but kind of ignores it and kind of uses it as fuel for her career aspirations. Summer and Wickie are the most consistent characters with their flawed behavior.
Girls5Eva Season 2 seems to have a lot more cameos and guest appearances than the first season but continues to use them in wonderfully weird ways.

Mario Cantone tones down his usual big persona to allow his Star Search rival to have her moment, especially because it is a one-sided feud. This is a fun cameo, and it also reminds viewers that many competitive reality shows make no sense.
With only two episodes left in the season, I can’t wait to see how Girls5Eva handles the album launch.
Other Thoughts
- Ray needs more of a storyline going into these last couple of episodes. He just feels there.
- If Girls5Eva releases a season 2 album, I will be the first to download it. I love every song from this season.
- Wickie needs a memoir episode. Her life seems so weird, especially her past.
- Summer wanting to become Chris Pratt’s third wife seems right.
- The outfits in Girls5Eva are so cute. The ‘90s and early ‘00s are also fantastically accurate to those eras, especially in relation to pop stars.
- We need at least one episode of just cameos from the ‘90s and early 00s pop artists.
