“The Black Pearsons have arrived for Thanksgiving!” On that note from Randall, This Is Us Season 6 Episode 7, “Taboo,” kicks off its yearly Thanksgiving celebrations as the Pearson clan gathers at the cabin for food festivities.
But like any typical family gathering, the potential for drama is high, with Rebecca revealing she has a big announcement to drop on her children during dinner. One could say this woman’s timing is impeccable.
The episode will play off this mystery announcement by diving into a younger Rebecca’s Thanksgivings with her parents and the highly anticipated sequel to the Jack/parent showdown.
I’m not saying it’s appropriate to start throwing turkey if the Jack Pearson slander starts back up, but I don’t think any of us would hold it against Rebecca and Jack for standing their ground.
Regardless of time and place, the Pearsons are sure to make this final Pilgrim Rick memorial a memorable one.
