The Ultimate ‘Arrow’ Quiz: How Much Do You Remember?
Starting on October 10th, 2012, and lasting throughout January 28th, 2020, one hundred and seventy episodes of Arrow aired throughout 8 seasons. That is around 1,935 minutes of our favorite emerald archer taking down hundreds of bad guys along with a slew of additional heroes by his side.
Vicious beatings and malicious murders were the original modus operandi of Star City’s personal vigilante as he crossed off names in his little black book. But eventually, Oliver Queen had a spiritual awakening, delivering him from the darkness, and birthing him into the light.
With a new lease on life, Oliver dropped his private vendetta and became the man of honor he was always supposed to be. His heroic antics inspired other characters like Rene Ramirez, Roy Harper, and Barry Allen to take on their own private missions for justice.
Many of these heroes made names big enough for themselves that they were rewarded with their own shows such as The Flash and Legends of Tomorrow. Without Oliver Queen to guide them, who knows where they would have ended up?
As the series wound down, Oliver had to make decisions that no mere mortal should have to make. He chose sacrifice over personal gain, leaving behind a young bride and children. His offering undoubtedly saved the world from a crisis like no other.
You know all of this already. After all, you’ve watched every episode multiple times, you’ve deciphered every Easter egg, and you’ve contemplated each alternate reality in which Oliver Queen didn’t have to die. Unfortunately, that’s the way things needed to be.
Oliver Queen had to step in when all things were falling apart. He was required to make the calls that everyone else was scared to make. Even with his friends coming to save him, Oliver underwent everything necessary in this life, and the next, to protect everyone.
We all watched with tears in our eyes as they put Oliver to rest in a dark and lonely grave. His truest testament of being a hero may never be known to the rest of the world, but we will never forget the journey he made along with us.
Through reruns and the ability to stream, all of Oliver’s diehard fans continue to keep his spirit alive today. We will never forget the island’s explosion, the death of Laurel Lance, or the defeat of Ra’s al Ghul.
That’s why we are here, to disprove the naysayers, to shut down the haters, and to justify Oliver’s hecatomb. And how exactly are we going to do this? By overcoming these impossible questions and obliterating any riddle that stands in the way of proving that Oliver Queen is the utmost champion of the universe.
