Preview — Good Sam Season 1 Episode 1: Pilot
Paging Dr. Griffith! Good Sam Season 1 Episode 1, “Pilot,” introduces a new band of doctors to the medical drama line-up, led by Sophia Bush and Jason Isaacs.
The medical field is no stranger to friendly competition. So, Good Sam raises the bar by making it acutely personal — familial.
Sam (Sophia Bush) goes head-to-head with a new leadership position and her father’s undermining disposition while training surgeons in their residency program.
Loyalties are tested, and lines are drawn as the newcomers must choose between Dr. Griffith and, well, Dr. Griffith.
That decision may be made for them in the “Pilot” since Rob falls into a coma. Consequently, as if things aren’t complicated enough, Sam Griffith will have another stressor to add to her crowded plate.
Alas, it doesn’t appear as though she’ll crumble under the pressure because she’s known it all her life. Sophia Bush eloquently delivers the line that proves just that when Sam tells Rob, “You can be the T-Rex, dad. I’m the meteorite.”
