Huzzah! Hulu Renews The Great for a Third Season
Great news from the Television Critics Association’s 2022 Press Event—Hulu has renewed The Great for Season 3!
This renewal is following the second season which was one of the top-performing original comedies of 2021 for the streaming platform. Season 2 brought in the great Gillian Anderson as mum to Elle Fanning’s Catherine to join in on the chaos.
The critically acclaimed comedy is created by Oscar-nominated scribe Tony McNamara with stars Fanning and Nicholas Hoult serving as executive producers. Like Seasons 1 and 2, Season 3 will be 10 episodes and the returning cast will most likely include Belinda Bromilow as Aunt Elizabeth, Phoebe Fox as Marial, Sacha Dhawan as Orlo, Adam Godley as the Archbishop, and Douglas Hodge as Velementov.
The Great is one of the leading female-driven comedies from Hulu alongside PEN15 and Dollface. It will be great (pun intended) to see where the story goes after that tension-filled Season 2 finale.
Seasons 1 and 2 of The Great are now available to stream on Hulu.
