Preview — 9-1-1 Season 5 Episode 8: Defend in Place

After barely seeing the 118 in the previous episode, 9-1-1 Season 5 Episode 8, “Defend in Place,” aims to rectify that. With a story that centers on the whole team working together to save many people from an explosion we are getting our fair share.

It’ll be interesting to see if Ravi will be able to function or if he will freeze up due to his trauma from the prison. We haven’t really gotten to see him since then, so anything is possible.

Michael has always been an integral part of the Grant/Nash family dynamic. This means his significant other being in trouble could make for some really emotional scenes between him, Bobby, and Athena.

What could Michael possibly have up his sleeve while his man is possibly hurt? Please tell me it’s a proposal, because while I was unsure of David in the beginning the man has really grown on me and now I adore him.

Episode description: Bobby and the 118 race to save lives after an explosion rocks the hospital where Dr. David Hale is performing surgery. Meanwhile, Michael makes a life-changing decision.
