The wedding Psychos have been waiting for is finally here. During a panel at New York Comic-Con, the cast and producers of Psych 3: This is Gus announced the movie will premiere on Peacock on Thursday, November 18.

The third film features cast members James Roday Rodriguez, Dulé Hill, Maggie Lawson, Timothy Omundson, Kirsten Nelson, Jazmyn Simon, and Corbin Bernsen returning for Gus and Selene’s wedding. TVLine reports Allen Maldonado will appear as Selene’s estranged husband.

Per the official description: “In preparation for a shotgun wedding before the birth of Baby Guster, Shawn and Groomzilla Gus go rogue in an attempt to track down Selene’s estranged husband, as Lassiter grapples with the future of his career.”

Simon went through a full range of emotions when she read the script and discovered Selene’s crazy past.

“I shook my head, I laughed till I cried, and I’m sure I texted James and was like, you guys are crazy,” she said. “I loved it. It felt very on-brand for her. I thought they were so creative because she’s such an oddball and she’s such a fun character to play, so I feel like everybody would be like, yeah, that seems about right.”

For Omundson, who had a stroke before production on Psych: The Movie, the film shows another step in his and Lassiter’s recovery.

“The great thing about this is that Lassiter’s recovery really mirrors my actual recovery in complete reality,” said Omundson. “I’m shooting this today in the same room where Maggie and I shot our FaceTime call for Psych the original movie, and I could barely speak at the time. So, it’s kind of nice to be back here in this room now thinking how far I’ve come and how far Lassiter has come.”

The panel also featured the debut of the trailer, which finds Shawn and Gus up to their usual shenanigans, as they search for the truth about Selene’s past. There’s even a cameo from Psych guest star, Tears for Fears singer Curt Smith. Apparently, Gus wants him to play his wedding.
