Preview — New Amsterdam Season 4 Episode 6: Laughter and Hope and a Sock in the Eye
Dr. Wilder returns to perform a surgery alongside Max, while Reynolds and Lyn open up to Baptiste about their relationship on New Amsterdam Season 4 Episode 6, “Laughter and Hope and a Sock in the Eye.”
Who had six episodes on their Max changes his mind bingo card? We all knew when push came to shove, Max wasn’t going to be able to leave New Amsterdam. Deep down, even Helen knew.
Now that she’s heard him express those feelings out loud, how will that impact their relationship? Not to mention, she’s dealing with her own familial revelations, so maybe she’s not as keen on moving back home now that she knows the truth about her mom.
Sharpwin fans knew a storm would hit eventually, but if the couple can’t agree on how to move forward, we may reach the end faster than expected.

Episode description: Dr. Reynolds and Dr. Malvo have a heart-to-heart with Dr. Baptiste. Max learns a little more about Sharpe when someone from her past resurfaces. Iggy plays referee between two young patients and their families. Dr. Wilder reconsiders Max’s offer to join the staff.
