Preview — NCIS: LA Season 13 Episode 1: Subject 17

The Office of Special Projects is back as NCIS: LA Season 13 Episode 1, “Subject 17,” finds the team dealing with the fallout of its fight against Katya. We were really hoping to leave this storyline and everyone associated with it in Season 12. If we’re lucky, this is just a quick wrap up.

After 13 seasons, we’re still wondering about the full nature of Hetty and Callen’s past relationship, and it looks like we’re finally going to get a few answers this season.

The delicate portrayal of Kensi and Deeks’ fertility issues was the highlight of NCIS: LA Season 12. It appears Season 13 will find the couple on a new journey as they explore adoption. Based on what we saw last season, this is bound to be emotional, insightful, and hilarious, so we can’t wait to see them hopefully get the family they desperately want.

Episode description: While Callen suspects Hetty of keeping secrets about his past and Joelle surfaces in her quest to capture Katya, NCIS must track down an informant whose life is in danger. Also, Kensi and Deeks work to expand their family.

  • I’ve always wondered if Hetty and Callen’s special bond was more then just ‘she was his last foster parent’, who knows, maybe she actually is related to him.
