Fan Expo Canada 2021 Preview: Line-Up includes Stephen & Robbie Amell, ‘Shadow and Bone’, and ‘Wynonna Earp’
After a long pandemic-induced hiatus, Fan Expo Canada makes its triumphant return with a limited-edition event and an impressive roster of celebrity guests!
Fan Expo Canada: Limited Edition will take over the Metro Toronto Convention Centre from October 22 to 24, 2021. Despite strict protocols in place to keep attendees safe, this smaller version of the Canadian con promises to be just as much of an experience with “citywide events, family-friendly attractions, and world-renowned celebrities.”
From iconic superhero cousins to up-and-coming stars to legendary actors that may have just come back from space, the convention flexes an impressive lineup of panels with many exciting television and film stars.

A shining light within the sea of streaming content this year, Netflix’s fantasy series Shadow and Bone boasted a large cast of scene stealers. None quite as predominate as The Crows, a crew of scrappy thieves who charmed and stole their way into our hearts with their devious antics.
Amongst the three loveable thieves was Jesper, the gunslinging gambler who quickly became a fan favorite thanks to Kit Young’s entertaining and faithful adaptation of the Crow’s sharpshooter.
Now the break-out star is taking his skills on the road to Fan Expo Canada to meet fans of the young adult book series turned TV phenomenon.
Young will make his first appearance at the convention on Saturday and Sunday, with a can’t-miss Q&A panel on Saturday where he is sure to discuss all things The Crows and Milo the goat.

It wouldn’t be a truly Canadian affair without the Amells; an assignment Fan Expo Canada clearly understood with the announcement that both Stephen and Robbie Amell would appear at this year’s convention.
Stephen became a household superhero during his time as the iconic Oliver Queen on Arrow. He has since moved on to lead wrestling drama Heels, a show with a growing cult following of its own. Robbie has been just as busy, following his stint on The Flash as Firestorm with films like The Babysitter and Desperados. His role as Upload’s Nathan has fans eager to see what’s next for the actor and his hit afterlife show.
Now, these talented cousins are teaming up for a memorable crossover with an appearance on Saturday and a super-sized Q&A panel. That’s right, Robbie and Stephen are joining forces to discuss fan-favorite projects, including their successfully crowdfunded film, Code 8.
Supergirl’s Italia Ricci will also be joining in on the fun with her panel and appearance on Saturday. It’s a super-charged family affair fans will be sure to enjoy!

Earpers rejoice! Leads Melanie Scrofano and Tim Rozon are ensuring Wynonna Earp‘s reign over Fan Expo Canada continues for this limited edition event. Both guests will stop by to see fans on Saturday and Sunday, with a highly-anticipated panel on Saturday.
Even if you’re not familiar with this Canadian sci-fi hit, this panel is sure to be entertaining!
These local actors have helped cultivate some of Canada’s greatest (and funniest) TV series. When Scrofano isn’t fighting demons, she drinking far too many gin and tonics as Mrs. McMurray on Letterkenny and starring alongside Rozon on his spooky new show, SurrealEstate.
As for Rozon, when he’s not flipping haunted houses, he’s charming us as Mutt Schitt in rewatches of the beloved series, Schitt’s Creek. To miss out on this panel is to miss out on a ton of wholesome Canadian content.

And the roster just gets better from there!
William Shatner went to space and now he’s coming to Fan Expo Canada to discuss the experience with fans during his appearance on Friday and Saturday with an exclusive Q&A on Friday. He’s joined on Saturday and Sunday by fellow Star Trek alum George Takei.
D.B. Woodside is representing the Lucifer cast on Sunday with a heavenly panel presentation. More guests joining him that weekend include Doctor Who himself, Christopher Eccleston, Buffy‘s James Marsters, Once Upon a Time‘s evil queen Lana Parrilla, and the cast of Trailer Park Boys.
Fans can also expect a sighting of Mythbusters Adam Savage during the event and panel moderations from Tanner Zipchen, a Canadian host know for his work on Cinexplex’s Pre-Show.
