When Does ‘Nancy Drew’ Return for Season 3?
Following Nancy Drew Season 2’s twist ending, fans are eager to know what’s next for The CW’s teenage sleuth. Nancy Drew Season 3 promises to ramp up the suspense, giving the Drew Crew a formidable foe to contend with during new episodes this October.
Nancy (Kennedy McMann) may have solved her wraith dilemma during the Season 2 finale, but Temperance Hudson’s (Bo Martynowska) resurrection promises to make her victory short-lived.

And Temperance could very well be the one knocking on Nancy’s door at the tail end of the episode.
Nancy Drew showrunners Melinda Hsu Taylor and Noga Landau told Entertainment Weekly that Temperance will become a “true, real enemy for [Nancy] for the first time in human form.”
“It’s a lot like if Nancy is Luke Skywalker then she finally met her Darth Vader, someone who is so much more powerful than her, connected to her by blood, emotional entanglement,” Landau explained.
The two also teased a clash during the early episodes of Nancy Drew Season 3, which gives us even more reason to look forward to the show’s return. Fortunately, we won’t need to wait very long to see how things play out.

Nancy Drew Season 3 Debuts October 8th
Nancy Drew Season 3 premieres this October, arriving just in time for Halloween. Given how heavily the third season will delve into the supernatural, it’s a fitting time for the show to return.
After all, who doesn’t love a good struggle against the undead during Spooky Season?
Specifically, Nancy Drew kicks off its third season on Friday, Oct. 8. That’s right, the series is switching from Wednesdays to Fridays with its upcoming season, something fans should take note of before diving in.
Those hoping to catch up on the previous seasons — or rewatch them ahead of season 3 — can find both outings on HBO Max.
