Grey's Anatomy, News

This is not a drill!

Grey’s Anatomy fans have been waiting and hoping that eventually, Kate Walsh would reprise her role as Addison Montgomery. Well, that time has come.

Kate Walsh will return to Grey’s Anatomy for Season 18, and it sounds like her return is going to be pretty darn epic. The actress announced the news on social media today, saying in a video that she is “so excited to be home again.”

“Just wait until you see what she has in store for you,” Walsh added in her announcement. According to TV Line, Walsh will be back for “multiple episodes.”

Whatever the reason for her return, it certainly does make sense that she’d visit Grey-Sloan. Her relationship with Amelia would be enough to warrant seeing her again, but a lot has happened since we lost saw Addison on the series finale of Grey’s Anatomy spinoff Private Practice
