BIG BROTHER Big Brother Season 23 Week 11 Recap: Kyland’s Last Stand

Big Brother Season 23 Week 11 Recap: Kyland’s Last Stand

Big Brother, Recaps

Big Brother Season 23 is quickly coming to end and with only four houseguests remaining there is not a ton of content left to fit into a full week’s worth of episodes.

It is an amazing feat that The Cookout alliance is able to make it to the finally six, but with Tiffany and Hannah absent from the house it is hard to sit through the boredom and predictability this week.

It all begins with the HOH competition that takes place shortly after the Double Eviction. Azah, who for some reason thinks it is a good idea to evict Hannah, cannot compete. Though, no one really thinks she or Derek F. can win anything against Kyland and Xavier anyway.

It is now more apparent than ever that Xavier has been throwing competitions all season. It makes perfect sense for his gameplay. He is so shielded by The Cookout for the first 10 weeks of the game, it never makes sense for him to win anything.

This game tactic also causes Kyland to be somewhat cocky in the Big Brother house. Kyland assumes he is the competition beast and his series of wins will guarantee him another one this time around. This is exactly what Xavier has been betting on all season and takes the win right out from Kyland’s nose.

Kyland’s cockiness gets the best of him in the POV competition as well. He plays horribly, even getting beat by Derek F. who we all know is not worthy of still being in the Big Brother game at this point.

Xavier picks the perfect time to start winning competitions. Since he is the final four HOH, he knows that he can also compete in the final HOH next week. He will for sure bring his A game, because he knows perfectly well if he does not pull this one off that both Azah and Derek F. will not be taking him to the final two.

Kyland also shows us his true colors this week when it is a true possibility he will be going home. It only takes eleven weeks but we are finally seeing a houseguest get nasty in the Big Brother house. Derek F. looks like a puppy compared to Kyland’s antics.

Kyland has shown this type of behavior before, but only slightly. When he is the HOH he threatens the other houseguests, which does not paint him in the prettiest of pictures. If he acts like this in real life, Kyland is not someone I will ever want to meet.

This season of Big Brother has so many nice houseguests, so Kyland clearly takes the prize for biggest villain. How he acts when he is evicted is despicable and very childlike. Talk about being a sore loser with no class.

And then there is Derek F. He is someone who is not afraid to call someone out or talk about them behind their backs. He can be classified as a villain but also the most delusional houseguest of Big Brother Season 23.

He and Azah are having some heated arguments about how they both deserve to be in the final three. Granted neither of them are worthy of being in the house at this point, but it is laughable that Derek F believes he is carrying her along all season. Derek F. has won zero competitions while Azah can say she is the winner of one HOH.

Also, Azah manages to avoid being on the nomination block up until this week. That also proves her worthy of still being in the house because it shows she has a flawless social game. If she and Derek F. are in the final two, she will surely win over him.

Finale night is less than a week away and my fingers are crossed for a Xavier victory! Don’t forget to vote for Tiffany for America’s Favorite Houseguest.
