Preview — Brooklyn Nine-Nine Season 8 Episodes 3 and 4: Blue Flu / Balancing
Brooklyn Nine-Nine Season 8 Episodes 3 and 4, “Blue Flu,” and “Balancing,” are all about the work-life balance, with two episodes that showcase what happens when disgruntled officers and babies threaten to shake up the bullpen’s dynamics.
“Blue Flu” follows the core nine-nine as they investigate a mysterious illness that has swept the precinct, leaving the streets severely under policed.
Jake and Charles look to investigate with a good old fashion friendship stake-out.
However, it soon becomes clear the illness may have less to do with a bad bug going around and more to do with the building allegations against law enforcement that has officers acting out against Holt’s orders in the form of an unofficial strike.
“Balancing” keeps things in the family with the first glimpse at Amy and Jake’s work dynamic as co-parents. No surprise, Amy came prepared for the chaos with a system to keep them on track for parenting success.
Not even our binder-organizing queen can prepare for the hectic obstacles childcare has in store for her with Jake “eats fruit roll-ups burritos for breakfast” Peralta involved. Children will be temporarily abandoned, it’s just inevitable.
As for Rosa, it would seem Brooklyn Nine-Nine has a surprise for her in the form of a new houseguest…
