What to Watch on TV: The White Lotus, Never Have I Ever, Schmigadoon!
Welcome to a new week and another round of What to Watch on TV for the week of July 11th! We’ll be sharing our picks for what to watch this week, from marathons to big guest spots, and significant episodes of TV to look forward to while stuck inside.
This week’s picks include new seasons of Never Have I Ever and Miracle Workers, the final part of the Fear Street trilogy drops, and more.

The White Lotus – Sunday, July 11

A Hawaiian resort is the stage for a variety of new guests checking in to enjoy the sun, surf, and sand. What begins as a fun vacation for many of the guests quickly changes as secrets are uncovered and lives are changed. The White Lotus debuts Sunday, July 11 at 9/8c on HBO.
Episode Description: As a new wave of guests arrives at the White Lotus, resort manager Armond tries to assuage Shane and his wife, Rachel, while spa director Belinda calms a grieving Tanya; Mark distracts himself from a health scare by spending time with their son.
Catch and Kill: The Podcast Tapes – Monday, July 12
Ronan Farrow’s podcast and book get the docuseries treatment as he shares his interviews with everyone involved in the investigation and creation of his book by the same name. Catch and Kill: The Podcast Tapes debuts Monday, July 12 at 9/8c on HBO.
Series Description: Ronan Farrow brings to life his interviews with whistle blowers, journalists, private investigators and other sources, conducted for his podcast and bestselling book “Catch and Kill: Lies, Spies and a Conspiracy to Protect Predators.”
Miracle Workers – Tuesday, July 13

The year is 1844, and the trio of characters we’ve seen inhabit others takes on prairie life on the Oregon Trail. Miracle Workers returns Tuesday, July 13 at 10:30/9:30c on TBS.
Episode Description: In 1844, an idealistic small-town preacher teams up with a wanted outlaw and an adventurous prairie wife to lead a wagon train west on the Oregon Trail.
Gunpowder Milkshake – Wednesday, July 14

Netflix’s latest action flick stars a group of badass women assassins who set out to protect the life of an 8-year-old girl and take down a crime syndicate. Gunpowder Milkshake debuts Wednesday, July 14 on Netflix.
Movie Description: Sam (KAREN GILLAN) was only 12 years old when her mother Scarlet (LENA HEADEY), an elite assassin, was forced to abandon her. The Coterie residents are back, and we’re jumping right into new relationship territory, a return to old haunts, and surprising news. Good Trouble returns Wednesday, July 14 at 10/9c on Freeform.
Episode Description: Callie and Gael decide to give their relationship a shot. Meanwhile, Malika is blindsided by Isaac’s news, Alice returns to the comedy program thanks to help from an unexpected source, and Dennis’ return has Davia questioning everything.
The Outpost – Thursday, July 15

The CW’s summer genre favorite is back and ready to battle for the throne. With so many looking for power, who will rule? The Outpost returns Thursday, July 15 at 9/8c on The CW.
Episode Description: Garret (Jake Stormoen) wants Talon (Jessica Green) to take the throne, while a mysterious assassin seeks revenge. Falista (Georgia May Foote) mourns for Tobin (Aaron Fontaine) but hatches a new plan. Zed (Reece Ritchie) wants Wren (Izuka Hoyle) to be High Priestess and uncovers a secret about her.
Dr. Death – Thursday, July 15

Joshua Jackson is returning to television and telling the chilling story of a real-life neurosurgeon whose gross malpractice over a span of years caused pain, permanent injury, and death for his patients. Dr. Death premieres Thursday, July 15 on Peacock.
Series Description: Based on a hit podcast and inspired by the terrifying true story of Dr. Christopher Duntsch, a young and charismatic star in the Texas medical community. Never Have I Ever – Thursday, July 15

Devi and crew are back and picking up right where we left things off, which means that she’s in for some decision-making that will inevitably go sideways. She has to decide if she’s gonna be team Ben or team Paxton H-Y. Oh, while also still dealing with the possibility of moving back to India with her mom and cousin. Never Have I Ever returns Thursday, July 15 on Netflix.
Season Description: In Season 2 of the coming-of-age comedy Never Have I Ever, Indian American teenager Devi (Maitreyi Ramakrishnan) continues to deal with the everyday pressures of high school and drama at home, while also navigating new romantic relationships.
First Wives Club – Thursday, July 15
Bree, Ari, and Hazel welcome a new woman into their club as they continue to work through the pressures of their professional and personal lives as new complications arise, new opportunities approach, and new love is on the horizon. First Wives Club season 2 premieres Thursday, July 15 on BET+.
Series Description: The pressures of new jobs and news loves are introduced in the second season … as Bree and Gary deep dive into rekindling their marriage, which is complicated by Bree’s big promotion and the introduction of a sexy hospital administrator. Schmigadoon! – Friday, July 16

An absolutely stacked cast led by Keegan Michael Key and Cecily Strong brings this musical parody series to life. A couple on a backpacking trip comes across a magical town that seems to be stuck in a musical from the 1940s. Schmigadoon! Debuts Friday, July 16 on AppleTV+.
Series Description: On a backpacking trip designed to reinvigorate their relationship, a couple discovers a magical town living in a 1940s musical; they then learn that they can’t leave until they find true love.
Space Jam: A New Legacy – Friday, July 16
A new take for a new generation, LeBron James takes the lead role on the hybrid live-action/animated movie that finds him playing himself and trapped in an animated world. To get out, he’s got to team up with Bugs Bunny and the crew. Space Jam: A New Legacy premieres Friday, July 16 on HBO Max.
Movie Description: Superstar LeBron James and his young son, Dom, get trapped in digital space by a rogue AI.
