Preview — Ted Lasso Season 2 Episode 1: Goodbye, Earl

With the start of a new season, Ted Lasso Season 2 Episode 1, “Goodbye, Earl,” aims to pick up right where we left things at the end of Season 1. The team is still recovering from their surprising loss to Manchester City. 

During Season 1, the team of AFC Richmond guys were struggling to come together as a team. Especially in the midst of a coach change and a few key player swaps — losing Jamie Tartt really changed up the dynamics. 

However, now that they have been moved down from Premier League status as a result of their loss, this team needs to devise a plan to bring them back on top. Ted Lasso Season 2 is about the characters and the relationships built during the first season.

Just like with any show in its sophomore season, Ted Lasso aims to strengthen its previous notoriety for overwhelming positivity and slapstick humor. With Jason Sudeikis leading the pack as the ever sunshiny, Ted Lasso, there is no way this team will fail.
