Welcome to a new week and another round of What to Watch on TV for the week of June 20th! We’ll be sharing our picks for what to watch this week, from marathons to big guest spots, and significant episodes of TV to look forward to while stuck inside.

This week’s picks include Evil returns for a new set of scares, False Positive debuts, and more.

The critically acclaimed series following a woman questioning her faith and a man set in his is back on a new platform. Season 2 is ready to escalate things as the evil looms even closer and the threat becomes much more real. Evil returns Sunday, June 20 on Paramount+.

Season Description: The second season brings evil closer to home.  Kristen struggles with her darker nature, while David suffers temptation as he gets closer to his ordination.  Meanwhile Ben is visited by night terrors that prey on his greatest fears.

The team is racing against time to save Sara before the timeline is affected forever. Will they get to her in time? Legends of Tomorrow airs Sunday, June 20 at 8/7c on The CW.

Episode Description: The Legends make a last-ditch effort to keep Sara from being abducted, even knowing that it will after the timeline; Sara is shocked when Rory finds her on the mystery planet.

Masterpiece’s season continues with a British import that follows a couple facing the end of their relationship. With their relationship on the brink, the couple decides to embark on one last family vacation. Us debuts Sunday, June 20 at 9/8c on PBS.

Episode Description: Connie tells Douglas she wants to end their 20-year marriage, but not before they take a European vacation with Albie, their rebellious teenage son.

Annie Murphy stars in a new cheeky series following a woman who is fed up with the sitcom ideal of her husband. Kevin Can F*** Himself debuts Sunday, June 20 at 9/8c on AMC.

Episode Description: Kevin throws his annual “Anniversa-rager” party with help from Patty, Neil and Pete. After Patty reveals the truth about her bank accounts, Allison goes on a bender and makes a decision to take back control of her life.

Rick and Morty – Sunday, June 20

Rick and Morty are back and ready to continue to wreak havoc on their family and time. Rick and Morty returns Sunday, June 20 at 11/10c on Adult Swim.

Episode Description: Rick plays host when he has to prepare an important dinner for his ocean-dwelling nemesis. Meanwhile, when Morty is sent to get the wine for the big man, the booze needs to be checked.

David Makes Man – Tuesday, June 22

The acclaimed OWN series returns and picks up with David working to find ways to renovate Homestead Village. David Makes Man returns Tuesday, June 22 at 9/8c on OWN.

Episode Description: David pitches a renovation project for Homestead Village to Joe Padilla, a billionaire. Later, tragedy strikes JG.

The Good Fight – Thursday, June 24

Diane is back and ready to examine some professional choices being made as the season kicks off. The Good Fight returns Thursday, June 24 on Paramount+.

Season Description: In the fifth season, Diane (Christine Baranski) is forced to question whether it’s appropriate for her to help run an African American law firm with Liz (Audra McDonald) when the firm loses two top lawyers. Meanwhile, Marissa (Sarah Steele) and the firm become entangled with Hal Wackner (Mandy Patinkin), a regular Chicagoan who decides to open his own courtroom in the back of a copy shop.

Ilana Glazer and Justin Theroux star in a new Hulu horror movie following a couple on their journey to conception that takes a quick turn for the nightmare-ish. False Positive premieres Friday, June 25 on Hulu.

Movie Description: After months of trying and failing to get pregnant, Lucy (Ilana Glazer) and Adrian (Justin Theroux) finally find their dream fertility doctor in the illustrious Dr. Hindle (Pierce Brosnan). But after becoming pregnant with a healthy baby girl, Lucy begins to notice something sinister through Hindle’s gleaming charm, and she sets out to uncover the unsettling truth about him, and her own “birth story.” As if getting pregnant weren’t complicated enough…

Sex/Life – Friday, June 25

Sarah Shahi stars as Billie, a woman who finds herself stuck in a rut, living her idyllic life in the suburbs. It’s only when she starts writing about her former boyfriend, their steamy past, and their heartbreaking end that she begins to re-examine her life and her choices. Sex/Life premieres Friday, June 25 on Netflix.

Series Description: Sex/Life is the story of a love triangle between a woman, her husband, and her past that takes a provocative new look at female identity and desire. Billie Connelly (Sarah Shahi) wasn’t always a stay-at-home wife and mother living in the suburbs.
