Sarah faces a major challenge when Greylock’s power is shut off on The Republic of Sarah Season 1 Episode 2, “Power.” With a lot of responsibility on her shoulders, Sarah wonders if she should turn to her mother for legal counsel.

As it turns out, advocating for and leading a new country isn’t the easiest job in the world, but Sarah has some great people in her corner.

After turning to AJ for advice, Sarah knows, as a leader, she can’t be everyone’s friend if she is going to make tough decisions to ensure Greylock’s independence. Though, this stance leads to problems with some of the people Sarah wants in her corner — Grover and Corinne.

Meanwhile, Maya rethinks her opinions of Bella after Bella pushes the boundaries with her father to spend more time with Maya and Tyler.
