Lois, Chrissy, and Clark team up to gather all the details about Morgan Edge on Superman & Lois Season 1 Episode 9, “Loyal Subjekts.” They’re trying to crack the code on Edge’s interest in Smallville. Now that things are falling into place around Edge’s grand scheme, it’s vital that they move as fast as possible. 

This team-up is exciting in part because it means that we may get to see Clark be a journalist. We’ve seen Clark be a father, a husband, and Superman, but we haven’t seen him be a journalist as much yet. There are only glimpses of that life on Superman & Lois Season 1 Episode 1, “Pilot.”

The promo video sees Lois warn someone, likely Chrissy and/or Clark, about the war that John Henry Irons warned them about on Superman & Lois Season 1 Episode 8, “Holding the Wrench.” Things aren’t slowing down in Smallville, especially if Edge has any say in it.

While trying to save Smallville and subsequently the world, Lois tries to find a way to protect Jonathan from the detrimental side effects of being a member of a superfamily. As far as Jonathan, he’s going to step up and ask his grandfather the hard questions.
